8 years of holiday cards with my girl 🩷
This New Year wasn’t just another holiday without MisTricks— it marked the first full year without her here. I went back and forth on whether to make a card this year…. Would you want one if I did?

It’s a Groovy Tuesday Groovy Tip from Groovy and Fawn don’t stop believing! The last few weeks have been challenging to say the least, but as they say, what can you do but grin and bear it, you know. So grin and bear it, we have.
Sometimes when the days are long and the nights are longer a little fluffy puppy cuddled in your lap just makes everything right again and you know good things are coming your way! Hold on tight, hang in there and believe. Just believe with all your heart because you know things always turn around! So our Groovy Tuesday Groovy Tip from Groovy and Fawn is keep your head up, the rain may come, but the clouds will part and the sun will shine again. Keep smiling because when you have a smile on your face, it makes you feel good it makes you happy and when you feel happy it makes everyone else feel happy too because smiles are contagious and when you smile you know everything is possible.
Never forget you can have everything you want, I mean, everything just don’t stop believing! DM or comment below about a time when you smiled through it all, you didn’t give up and you never stopped believing.
See you all back here next Tuesday for another groovy video because after all it is #groovytuesday

I’ll share more in an upcoming post but for now please enjoy images from this film noir photo shoot I did with my sweet Calvin Klein kitty by @dlundin

***Calvin Klein the cat (2005-2022 RIP) was bribed with “kitty grass” to participate

Diana Lundin is an ex-newspaper reporter turned internationally esteemed fine art pet photographer.

Post-pandemic, Diana has been working on falling back in love with Los Angeles. Her pact to say "yes" to nearly everything that crossed her path has led to many adventures, including helping move an animal sanctuary 3,600 miles across the country by driving a school bus filled with 110 birds from Oregon to Maine. She writes about climate change and animal rights, and describes the animal sanctuary relocation adventure in evocative and thoughtful prose.

Diana has called Los Angeles home since the late 1980s, and except for a few of those years she’s lived right by the Los Angeles River, a place which mesmerizes her with its inimitable complexity.

Over the next few days, you’ll see images that Diana made while attending an LA River X digital storytelling workshop in November 2024.
