🍂Autumn Eats For A Happy Gut + Metabolism 🍂 From apples to all squash varieties these foods are rich in beneficial fiber, prebiotics, polyphenols, and are amazing sources of easy to digest carbohydrates (especially when certain ones are cooked VERY well). Remember that if you don't want to absolutely cook your thyroid function then you need to be eating enough carbohydrates this fall and winter. Our metabolism naturally slows down in the colder months since sunshine also becomes more scarce at that time. Light is a huge imput for our metabolism but also for our gut health. Did you know that mushrooms can be a natural food source of Vit D? These can be an incredible food for when the sun is not around as much and we start to go through our Vit D stores in the body. This isn't a complete list of all the goods that are in season that will help fuel you and your family BUT it’s a good start. Seasonal foods will obvi differ depending where you are in tje world at this time. Can you guess what the yellow fruit is surrounded by the pomegranate /figs/ squash? 🤔 Let me know in the comments your guess 🤍. #fallfoods #autumnfoods #foodsforguthealth #prometabolic bioenergeticnutrition

Dlux Collagen Maxxxing 🤘🏻 ’Cause it does matter AND it does have efficacy in the human body. Collagen makes up approximately 30% of ALL our bodily protein. 👀 Um, yeah... Traditionally, cultures have always naturally consumed collagen and gelatinous foods. People in ancient cultures knew that eating all of an animal was not only the best way to get nutrition, BUT it was also how you would make the most out of your animal food sources. While there’s been a resurgence of incorporating more traditional foods and eating more nose-to-tail these days, it’s still very easy to miss out on foods that provide us with collagen/gelatin. Muscle meats have dominated people’s plates and continue to do so. Muscle meats are not the problem. The issue that a lot of us run into is that we’re missing key amino acids that are NOT found in muscle meats. These key amino acids are exclusively found in the tissues of animals/fish. You cannot get these from vegan sources (sorry, but it’s true). So, with that being said, today’s post is a little inspiration on how you can maximize your collagen/gelatin intake. Getting enough collagen isn’t the only thing we need to consider, either. We also have to have good nutrient status (ig copper, vitamin c) in order to support collagen synthesis in the body. Collagen and gelatin do help us with the formation of collagen in the body. Eating and supplementing with collagen/gelatin does make a difference in the body and is beneficial. Collagen (there are 3 types) helps support: Hair Skin Nails Tendons Cartilage Joints Bones Muscles Organs Arteries GI tract (your gut) Sleep Inflammation My favorite supplemental sources for collagen/gelatin and vit c ⬇️ @crucialfour grass-fed collagen peptides + camu camu powder (code DLUXXX15 for 15% off) @perfectsupplements Gelatin powder + acerola cherry (code DLUXXX saves you 10% off) @equipfoods Prime protein (code DLUXXX saves you 15% off) More details on this topic in my subscription 💋👌🏻. xD #collagen #gelatin #guthealth #holistichealth

Tissue Salts 101 Pt. 6 ✨ Meet Silica: the cell conditioner & cleanser. I like to think of it as the "beauty and strength" tissue salt. ✨ We've made it to the final tissue salt in my series! 🎉 Silica is often thought of as the tissue salt for structure, resilience, and repair. It's traditionally used to support: 🌿 Healthy hair, skin, and nails ✔️ Helps the body eliminate unwanted things 🦴 Strong connective tissue ✨ Skin healing and tissue repair 💪 General resilience when the body feels run down 🌸 Splinters or minor skin irritations (where appropriate) Think of silica as the tissue salt that helps support your body's building blocks—from the inside out. Like all tissue salts, it's not about forcing the body to do something new; it's about gently supporting what it's already designed to do. Tissue salts can be such a cool and therapeutic tool in anyone's toolbox for support and healing. Have you ever tried Silica? I'd love to hear your experience in the comments! 💛↓ This post is for educational purposes only and isn't intended to diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical advice. xD #tissuesalts #homeopathy #holistichealth

No wonder so many of us feel • Fatigued no matter how much we sleep • Burnt out and overstimulated • Hormonal and estrogen dominant • Constipated and bloated • Hypothyroid and sluggish • Anxious, wired, and exhausted • Struggling with brain fog • Like sugar, salt, and caffeine addicts • Like insomniacs • Moody, with no chill, and snappy • Dehydrated • Inflammed • Like weightloss is impossible • Aging faster than normal Does this sound like you? 🙄 🥕 Our food /soils aren't as mineral-rich as they used to be — and our lifestyles, stress levels, and toxic exposures are draining what’s left. Minerals matter more than most people realize. ✨ When you start to restore your nutrient minerals (with mineral balancing) and displace the heavy metals/ toxins you bring back the spark of life and your voltage ⚡️⚡️⚡️.
