Hi SNA! This year, Brian Jackson and Avery Bautista are serving as SNA’s team captains for Dance Marathon 2027. Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropic organization on campus, and every year we fundraise for the kiddos (and families) at Rady Children’s Hospital, which is our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital, only fifteen minutes away from SDSU. 100% of funds raised throughout the year are used to help cover medical expenses, provide resources to families, support ongoing medical research, and provide not only hope, but happiness throughout a time that may seem impossible.

Pie-A-TC | 10 AM - 2 PM

Interested in learning more about Dance Marathon and/or getting to pie your SNA team captains? Come join us on Campanile Walkway between 10 AM and 2 PM for Pie-A-TC, where every $3 gets you one pie or $5 gets you two!

Brian will be tabling from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, and Avery will be there from 12:15 - 1:00 PM so come by to say hi and throw a pie!

All proceeds will go directly to our team’s fundraiser for DM! Hope to see you there!

Featured Funding Friday! 🌟

This week, we’re highlighting a proposal that supported members of SDSU Dance Marathon in attending the Ignite Peer-to-Peer Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana!

With SSF support, the team had the opportunity to connect with student leaders from across the country and learn directly from Children’s Miracle Network advisors. Over four days, they built new relationships, shared fundraising ideas, and discovered meaningful ways to support local children’s hospitals.

They’re excited to put everything they learned into action and continue making an even bigger impact for the kids and families at Rady Children’s Hospital.

Special shoutout to student lead Tiana Gutierrez for making this incredible opportunity happen!

IGNITE 2026⭐️

Our management team and some exec members had the opportunity to travel to Indianapolis for Ignite this year, Dance Marathon’s yearly leadership conference!

We are so fortunate to connect with other @dancemarathon programs from across the country and hearing from the National Champion kids who reignited our passion for the cause! 🩵✨

AND A HUGE HUGE thank you to @childrensmiraclenetwork , for an unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to bring what we learned back to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and continue growing UNDM’s impact!

What a weekend in Indianapolis! ✨

The 2026 Ignite: Peer-to-Peer Leadership Conference brought together student leaders and hospital and campus advisors from across the country to learn, connect and share the reasons they show up for Dance Marathon.

This community continues to show what is possible when students come together to support local children’s hospitals and help make big change for all kids. This generation is lifting up the next. 💛
