Vamos a disfrutar! #racing #motorsports #tcr #carros #racecardriver #china #ecuador

TCR ASIA:
A major returnee in the @tcr_asia series - Ecuadorian driver @dmoran23 🇪🇨 will come back to the series for the first time in six year, driving a Honda Civic FL5.

Moran raced in TCR Asia in 2017-2019 with @engstler_motorsport and has been one of the championship frontrunners. His best overall result was P2 in the standings in 2019, with 4 victories. Back then, Diego raced a VW Golf and a Hyundai i30.

The Ecuadorian has been involved recently as a coach, helping some of the TCR Asia drivers in 2024. Now he makes a full-fledged comeback.

Diego will compete in all the remaining events of the season, starting from the next event at Sepang on July 25-27. He has already tested the new Honda on the Malaysian circuit ahead of the return.
