I tried Kirtan Kriya for 30 days…

And honestly,

I’ve never felt:

• Lighter
• Calmer
• More emotionally steady
• More balanced
• Less stuck in freeze

This practice genuinely surprised me ✨

I first learned about Kirtan Kriya through Dr. Daniel Amen,
who has published research on its effects on brain function.

Dr. Amen often suggests practicing it for 8 weeks.

I’m currently halfway through…

…and already noticing meaningful shifts.

And I’m not new to meditation…
I’ve explored many practices over the years.

But this one really got my attention.

Kirtan Kriya is a structured 12-minute meditation
combining sound, rhythm, breath, and movement.

If you’re feeling:

• Stressed
• Overwhelmed
• Mentally stuck
• Dysregulated

Or especially…

If you don’t feel good about how you look,

this practice might be worth exploring.

Search “Kirtan Kriya meditation” on YouTube
and follow along ✨

I personally do it first thing in the morning…
such a grounding way to start the day ☀️

Save this, try it,
and let me know how it feels 🤍

Clinical neuropsychologist Dr. Russell Barkley shares a jaw-dropping true story: a husband with ADHD goes out to mow the lawn... and ends up fly fishing, drinking at a pub, and forgetting everything—including his running car and open gas can at the gas station. His wife was ready to leave. Why? Barkley explains: ADHD isn’t about laziness—it’s about time blindness. The brain becomes trapped in the now, unable to stay connected to future goals. The frontal lobe’s job is to organize behavior over time—but with ADHD, the future just fades.

Behavioral expert Chase Hughes reveals a major red flag of narcissists: they rarely have local friends. Most of their friendships are long-distance because they struggle to maintain close, consistent relationships. Over time, their façade cracks—fluid movements and confidence shift into stress, shallow breathing, and reduced facial expressions. The key is spotting the difference between authentic behavior and a performance.

🚨 Even “Moderate” Drinking Affects Your Brain. A recent study analysed over 35,000 adults in the UK and found that even one to two drinks per day can cause brain degeneration—leading to thinning of the neocortex and other critical brain regions.

🔎 Key takeaway? Even low alcohol consumption can impact cognitive function over time. While this isn’t meant to cause panic, it’s essential to understand the long-term effects alcohol can have on your brain health.

Would this study make you rethink your drinking habits? 🍷🤔

Think that one drink a day is harmless? Think again. 🍷🧠
A recent study titled “Associations Between Alcohol Consumption and Gray and White Matter Volumes in the UK Biobank” examined the brains of over 35,000 middle-aged and older adults in the UK who consumed various amounts of alcohol.

The results? Even low to moderate drinking—just one or two drinks a day— showed evidence of neocortex thinning, meaning loss of neuron’s in critical brain areas.

We’re often told that “a little won’t hurt,” but the science is clear—even moderate alcohol consumption can impact brain health over time. This isn’t about fear; it’s about being informed and making better choices for long-term health and performance.

✨ Takeaway: What you do daily shapes your future. Small habits add up—choose wisely.

Woah! We literally smell fear, and then it triggers our own fear! 😱 Share with someone who loves science

Why do you think trusting our gut is so important (as mentioned above)?

🔑 The key is knowing when to safely be fearless.

Today is FEARLESS FRIDAY! The day we focus on courage, bravery, and goals.
