Another crafting day yesterday with Lena @dncwme This time, we wanted to make wreaths to adorn our doors. I've never made a wreath before, so I wasn't expecting mine to look anything like the pins we pinned on Pinterest.

But by playing with all the materials and shifting them around a few times or more and the encouragement of a friend, I did it. I'm really proud of how it turned out. Have you ever made a wreath?

It took a few weeks, but Lena @dncwme and I finished our adorable cheesecloth ghosts. I got them set up last night and I absolutely love them. My favorite is the one holding a pumpkin. Next year, I'll be making a lot more.

We improvised a little from how we saw them made online. We used balled up aluminum foil for the heads instead of Styrofoam balls. And we used @modpodgecrafts since we couldn't find liquid starch. Thanks for such a fun and relaxing crafting time, Lena. Who else loves crafting?

If you want to and can I highly recommend a girls weekend. Lena @dncwme and I had such an incredible time exploring along our way to Florence as well as Florence and the surrounding area. This was the first time I had a girls' weekend, and I don't know why I waited so long. It was extremely rainy and very windy, but it just made it more memorable. Especially trying to get home and finding out roads were closed due to flooding and landslides. We're already thinking about where we should go next. Make the time to do something new and adventurous that you've been putting off. My cup is so full ❤️

Our last camping trip of the summer was fun, wet, sunny, and I already want to go back. The coast is our happy place even when it rains. Bullards campground is one of our favorites for so many reasons. If you haven't stayed there, I highly recommend it. How's the end of your summer going?

Ok, so Granite Falls wasn't all we had hoped it would be but the hike to it was pretty awesome!

3.4 miles of moderate/difficult trail up in Forest Park. We tackled another new to us trail that took us up the Hall of Manzanitas up the Pipsissewa and then back down to continue the Hall of Manzanitas across the road to the Cantrall Creek trail and then back to her car. A nice little gain of 1200 ft of elevation.

It's pretty awesome to live in southern Oregon! On a whim we can be hiking in just a matter of minutes.

Today my hiking buddy @dncwme and I decided to explore some random trails in the Applegate Trail system. The trails are a little rough with some steep incline but the views are absolutely gorgeous. This hike was about 1.75 miles round trip and I'd say it was moderate. Be aware of ticks in warmer weather because in some places trees need to be cut back. We can't wait to explore more!
