SIRF!!!! So incredible... Thank you so much @sirf_stockton @stocktoncouncil @arc_stockton for having me at such an incredible event. PLATFORM is such a fantastic programme. It gave me and two other performers the chance to be part of a brilliant community and learn so much about how international festivals and outdoor performances work. We were tret so fan-bloody-tasticly, given food to keep us going and checked in with often. I've created new poems which I'll share next week.

Thank you so so so much SIRF. You ate brilliant!

Image Description:
1 - The SIRF flag flying at the Riverside.

2 - myself and @_jo_lovejoy_ taking a selfie on the green, both white gals with brown hair and big smiles. I'm dressed in rainbow floral and she's dressed in blue and black.

3, 4, 5, 7 - Myself, stood in the beautiful Finkle Garden with purple flowers, microphone on my face, enthusiastically performing with big gestures. Next to me is the fabulous Cheryl who is speedily interpreting my poems through BSL. Thank you Dawn and Louise for two of these photos of me!

6 - the view from the amphitheatre, a huge crowd sat on steps looking out to the river and a black stage.

Now this is pretty sick. Some custom artwork made by @dawnandthegreys inspired by our dear tune Theme Parks. Let’s hope summer hurries up.

GIGANTIC thanks to @narcmagazine for making me the dec/Jan cover - I remember taking everything I read in narc extremely seriously when I was growing up and it’s how I came across a lot of my favourite bands. To be on the cover is a genuine dream come true ❤️ thanks so so much to the wonder that is Claire Dupree and her incredibly hardworking team.

Read the full interview I did with the lovely @dawnandthegreys via the link in the bio

Incidentally that’s also where you’ll find tickets to celebrate with us this weekend at @teesidesu courtesy of @mbrogigs for our final show of 2024 with old friends @nelunlit and new friends @parissazarifimusic ✨

What a day

Not usually one for sticking my face on the old TL, but I love this picture (taken by @deniewibly on @shyretiringtype's phone, just before @hopeandsocial's gig in Otley on Friday night - thank you!).

Music, friends, connection... all the stuff that reminds me of what really matters and makes me so happy. Truly a lucky soul 💙

I had a paw some time when my bestie stayed at the weekend. We jumped in bed with hoomum, raced up and down living room, snuggled in the back seat of the car and got sausages @thecanteenbarkitchen when we did it again?
