Happy Father’s Day to my dog Dad.

The one who didn’t give up on me when Mum was already stressed out and exhausted, wondering how they were ever going to bring me here to Australia. The one who kept saying, “We’ll find a way,” and never stopped trying to bring his girl home.

The one who works hard and provides for our family. But more than that, the one who has been taking care of me so much more lately. The one who gets up and takes me on my walks, makes sure I get out and enjoy the world, looks after me and is always there when Mum needs a little help.

I know Mum has always been my person, but Dad… you have quietly become such a huge part of my little world too. 🥹

Thank you for carrying our family when things were hard.

Thank you for bringing me all the way here. Thank you for every walk, every cuddle, every little thing you do for me that you probably don’t even realise I notice.

I may follow Mum everywhere, but I know I’m one very lucky girl to have a Dad who loves me this much.

Happy Father’s Day to the man who never gave up on bringing his girl home. 🐾

P.S. I would never have become Mum’s soul dog if you hadn’t gifted me to her. And for that, I will forever be grateful. 🥹❤️

Happy 1st anniversary in Hawthorn East to @ciderandbasil! 🎉🐾☕️

Running a small business is no easy feat, so we think one year in the neighbourhood is definitely worth celebrating, especially when you’ve created such a welcoming little spot for humans and doggos. 🥰

Cider & Basil is one of my favourite places for a doggie catch-up, mostly because the humans are lovely… but also because the puppuccinos and treats are VERY good. Priorities. 😌🐶

Of course I had to join in the anniversary celebrations this weekend and put my treat-catching skills to the test with @dogfolkphotography 📸🦴 I also got to catch up with lots of friendly doggos, including my buddy Winston @winston.d.ewok!

Congratulations to the Cider & Basil team on your first year in Hawthorn East. Here’s to many more puppuccinos, treats and doggie dates to come! 🥂🐾

I got to show off my true identity as King Jasper 👑 and surprise Mum with how fast I was in the corgi race!
