Still feeling so incredibly thankful and grateful for these three days at the FIGS Retreat 🤍🌞🪩🌻

For the people I met, the connections I made, and a community that made me feel so cared for and heard. Leaving Ojai with a full heart and so many memories I’ll be carrying with me for a long time. ✨

I swear it’s a dream. The people, the family, @wearfigs, each person has completely changed my life. In one retreat I learned so much about myself and how incredible life can truly be when you are fearless and pursue your dreams. Yes it did take me 3 business days to grieve leaving this retreat before I could post about it, but don’t worry my mindfulness exercises got me through 😉 #figsretreat @wearfigs @figsambassador

Everyday of the @wearfigs retreat started with a Pilates or yoga session

The athletic wear is @wearfigs X @newbalance compression wear and looked so good on every single person!

After Pilates, we changed into our new @wearfigs scrubs and sneakers & went on to do hours of wellness sessions by the talented @devibrown that unlocked so much healing for us.

If you know me, you know I treat sun as medicine. I packed all the swimsuits thinking we’d have time to go to the pool but wow-we were too busy!! We all agreed that we needed just one more day to lay by the pool and chat on all that we experienced together.

The way all of our fits for the week color coordinated made me feel so put together 🥰

See what I’m saying? The outfits looked good on every single one of us!! 🔥

I was surrounded by so many women who have such incredible stories. I left feeling so inspired

Therapy with 90 of my newest friends

Did my first TikTok with all the young girls and didn’t get kicked out lol

@smilewithsuki graduated from the same school as me. She is such a light and going to make a great dentist!!

@hana.rdh and I holding down the retreat as the only dental hygienists 🥹 I’ve followed her for years so it was so fun to finally meet

@anum.hash is the reason I was even on this trip and I’ll forever be thankful for this sweet momma. @kkmoon266 is a psychotherapist that @wearfigs so kindly shared her with us!

Every morning started with the @wearfigs run club. While I didn’t run, I did enjoy the sunrise walk with the walking gang 😉

The only other time I flew by myself was when I was 20. I was so anxious to go alone I cried when I hugged @dustin_wheelock goodbye. I faced so many fears on this trip it ain’t even funny 😆

Whether you’re in healthcare or not, what you do is important, but you’re more than your titles and your work.

This retreat reminded me to be present, travel, pick up that new hobby, keep dancing, take care of yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. And surround yourself with a community who make life better.

For so long, life has been about becoming…

The next degree.
The next title.
The next goal.

And maybe the next chapter isn’t about becoming anyone at all.

Maybe it’s about discovering who I am now that so much has happened. No longer allowing what happened to me, to define me.

@wearfigs gave me a few days to go within under the guidance of @devibrown and other incredible healers.

And somehow, while going within, I met some awesome humans on the outs.

This was a retreat I’ll carry with me long after leaving Ojai
