Today I make a post I thought I would never make.

For the 2026 season, I have decided to step away from @discmaniadiscs after 10 years of proudly representing the Shield. Crazy, because I thought I’d end my career there.

At the beginning, it was all about family. The people within the company is what made it so special. So much passion. So many ideas. Always moving forward. Being part of Discmania’s “sports camp” in 2023 was one of the most impactful times I had with the company. I feel fortunate to have been involved with them for so long, and not just involved on the surface level. I remember moving the warehouse from California to Colorado and building all the fixtures at the new Wellington location. I remember spending hours a day building those crazy red mystery boxes you all hype over. I remember packing orders and stamping discs. I remember all the faces that have come and gone before me. We were family. That warehouse at one time was filled with individuals who loved their jobs and were 100% diehard Discmaniacs!

I could sit here all day and type the memories and great times I’ve had with Discmania over the last 10 years but at the end of the day, I have to give a huge thank you to a few key people. My brother, thank you for everything. Literally. Jussi, thank you for treating my family like your family. You are a mastermind. Erno, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to tour in the RV with Simon for the 17 season and for allowing my now wife, to join the discmania rv. Avery, thank you for showing me the way, paving the way and showing me the ropes. The memories we have are endless. Brubeck, one of the hardest working dudes I know, put blood sweat and tears into the company. The Chef Special. The California Crew, thank you guys for believing in the Company and packing up your lives to move to Colorado.

These last 10 years of representing the shield, on the road and on the course have been some of the most memorable years of my life, shaping me into the man I am today. I am thankful for the opportunities Discmania has provided me but all good things come to an end and unfortunately, it’s just not the same company anymore.

Lone Howl out 🐺✌🏻
