Closing out this chapter feels like something I never thought I would say. I'm so grateful for everything that Short Dance has given me these past 9 years in competition. The memories will stay with me forever and I can't be more thankful for all the amazing family I made along the way.

To the Juju to my Tay Tay, I have no words to describe how appreciative I am of you. You are such a light and couldn't have asked for a better last duet partner. I don't think my brain has wrapped around the fact that I'm not going to dance in the studio with you again. Those were my favorite moments of this year were the ones of getting to come in and share the space with you. Rivers and Roads will forever be our song. I can't wait to come back and watch you thrive next year in whatever you do. I love you so so much and can't believe we made it to showdown.

To my amazing team this year, I couldn't have asked for a better group to end my time at Short Dance with. From getting to work in the studio together to getting a sweet treat after practice, all led up to going back together in the showdown. I'm so proud of each one of you and can't wait to see what is next in all your futures.

To my teachers at Short Dance, thank you for all your time, energy, and encouragement over the past 9 years in competition. To Reese, thank you for everything with choreographing my solos and all your amazing words of encouragement these past 4 years. I couldn't have made it without you. To Dom, thank you for the amazing duets and the late nights working on Oh Mother. I wouldn't be the dancer I am today without you pushing me to grow. To Ali, thank you for teaching my first solo. It truly made me fall in love with dance and want to continue in my future. Lastly, thank you Wade. Without you I wouldn't be who I am today not only as a dancer but as a person. You have taught me so much technique and skills but more importantly how to be a good leader, listener, and overall person.

To my entire Short Dance Studios family, my life will never be the same and I can't believe that I can say I'm an alumni. I can't wait to see all the beautiful things that everyone will do and I wish the best for all🤍
