WELCOME TO THE SING-SING INSTAGRAM. Lovely to see you. x A few of you over the years have hinted that you would love to see us reissue our albums. Good idea! We always felt that we were a bit out of step with what was going on when they came out and we went from pillar-to-post somewhat with labels but ....…..(drum roll)…...25 years after our debut album The Joy Of Sing-Sing was released, well - it’s here again in a brand shiny new costume in lots of different formats with various lovely new people collaborating here, there and everywhere. Produced by electronic whizz-kid programmer Mark Van Hoen @locust_mvh, The Joy Of Sing-Sing is 12 (or is it 13? 😉) tracks of shimmering electronic textures, hypnotic melodies and exquisitely restrained vocals that felt equally indebted to classic pop as to forward-thinking electronica. It’s been expertly remastered from the half-inch tapes by @kevinvanbergen. Plus we also decided that we should have a sleeve redesign. It’s quite unusual to do this but the original one was in our original label Poptones' house-style and since this is on our own label Aerial Records, well, it needed a new approach and so we enlisted the talents of @chrisbigg_design, once designer at v23/4AD. Band photo @bds1970 Today, we are leading by re-releasing the Feels Like Summer single (digital only). The video, directed by Kieran Evans @kierboyo, has been remastered too. Release date for The Joy Of Sing-Sing is October 23rd 2026 and we will be posting Sing-Sing stuff mostly on here so PLEASE make sure and follow that account. All the links to what I am about to describe are in the bio. So. Formats (deep breath): 12-track translucent yellow vinyl LP 2 CD deluxe edition featuring the remastered album plus a bonus disc of B-sides and previously unreleased tracks (demos and a radio session). Limited @dinkededition Archive Edition (400 only) LP on transparent orange vinyl, including an obi strip, signed insert and bonus CD. Americas only orange-glitter vinyl with mp3 downloads of unreleased tracks on released on @kaninerecords Streaming/digital - the usual. That’s enough for now, isn’t it? We really hope you love this as much as we do. x

@masalbanduk & @emmaandersonmusic have joined forces for a stunning new single called ‘Pause The Rain’. It’s a pop song, with a distinct early-’90s dance feel, but also leans into a repetitive krautrock and experimental vibe. The harp and synth duo worked on a track for Emma’s 2024 remix collection ‘Spiralée: Pearlies Rearranged’, before meeting her IRL at a John Grant gig early last year and realising that they spoke the same musical language. The original is complemented by an incredible remix by Xylitol – aka @planet.mu signed producer @bunnyhausen – which sounds like a drum’n’bass take on Kraftwerk’s ‘Tanzmusik’. The two versions are out now on all digital platforms and there will be a limited-edition 7” single exclusively available at the @indielabelmkt which takes place at @coaldropsyard in London on Saturday, May 9. It is pressed on ‘sea and sky’ vinyl and comes with a sticker sheet of weather symbols - all exquisitely designed by @jonesthemac - so you can make your own unique version and quite literally pause the rain. Emma and Masal will be hanging out on the Sonic Cathedral stall at the event to sign copies of the single and they will also be DJing together from 2.30pm. For his second @jilsander show, @simonebellotti kept up the momentum, embracing the brand’s minimalist codes. The show was accompanied by a custom soundtrack by American artist Laurel Halo (@laurelhalo), as well as a poem written by Chiara Barzini (@chiarabarzini), titled "The House Above The Sea", recited by American musician Kim Gordon (@kimletgordon). For the finale, music by the great John Cale, a Welsh artist who released "Mercy", after more than 10 years of absence, at the age of 80, in duo with Laurel Halo. Hey everyone, today I have a new album out! It’s titled ‘Rewilding’ and although I should’ve probably led this post with the main artwork, I thought a picture of myself and Ezra out in the wild (no pun intended) would have more meaning. ‘Rewilding’ is restoration : it’s bringing wilderness and untamed nature back into itself beyond human control. There’s as much mystery around the rewilding process as there is around its urgency as it’s in never-ending crisis - curating a relationship with nature takes balance and time. Living here in Holme Valley I’ve been lucky to see nature at its truest and wildest with changes and renewal between seasons. It’s made me realise that simply leaving something alone to grow is all that’s needed, like watching fallen leaves mulch into compost or worms kindly turn the soil so we don’t have to. It’s all worth a further investigation and to be honest it makes complex stuff like AI feel like an utterly meaningless tool of no real use. I really hope this album resonates with you in a natural way and encourages people to look further into the rewilding process. It’s up on Bandcamp and all the usual places to hear music. Huge love to @pickwickity for the constant inspiration, patience and knowledge on all things rewilding. Huge thank you to @floodlitrecordings and @no_studio for bringing this album life and the sonic annihilation! Huge thanks to @miscprintco @fsr_fsr_fsr for the wonderful artwork and visuals.
