Happy 6th birthday to my sweet Theo!

My social butterfly, my little shadow, my gentle soul with the biggest personality and an even bigger heart. From being a puppy mentor to making friends everywhere you go, you have a way of making everyone feel special. But no one is luckier than me to call you mine.

October 22 has always been a special day because it’s also Katie’s birthday. 🌈🤍 Of all the days in the year, somehow you were born on the very same day as your big sister in heaven. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but I like to tell myself it’s a little reminder that some connections are meant to be.

This year has brought so many changes, but through it all, you’ve been a constant source of love, comfort, and happiness.

Happy birthday, my sweet boy. Six years of you, a lifetime of love, and so many more adventures ahead 🥳

It's been a few weeks since we've been nesting and adapting to each other. It's funny how some things work out. At the beginning of my Master's program, I was incredibly nervous to write my first assessment. During that time, the album Evermore came out and I had never really listened to Taylor Swift, except for some of her massive hits, but I listened to the album and immediately fell in love. It's my favorite album to date and gave me the courage to push through the first essay. One of my favorite tracks was Ivy. I didn't know that six years later I would have my own Ivy, my sweet golden girl from South Korea. Thank you to @domosfriends who trusted me and allowed me to be her mama. Ivy has been through so much, and I am incredibly grateful she had a safe, loving space before coming home. Animals, especially dogs, are innocent and deserve to be treated with respect and love. Here is my sweet ladybug. It was meant to be, Ivy.

🇰🇷 As many of you know, Chori and Mila are rescues from South Korea (thanks again @domosfriends for saving them!), and it looks like they still have a strong bond with their homeland because, well… the last thing we were expecting was to see them taking pictures with a K-pop group that stopped by to get some gelato while on tour in the US: @le_sserafim!

👶🏻 And this was actually their second visit! They had stopped by back in June, and when they came back this time, they remembered Serena and asked how the baby was doing.

🤣 They also remembered the corgis and, you know, as a famous group, people ask them for pictures all the time, but this time they were the ones asking us for pictures with the corgis. So… who are the real celebrities here? Haha!

📰 Their pictures with the dogs were later shared not only on their personal profiles, but also by @fronta_magazine, a South Korean digital media platform and magazine.

🌏 And it’s actually been quite fun receiving messages from friends on the other side of the world who are Le Sserafim fans, saying: “Wait… I know those corgis!”

🦊 We never imagined that two rescue corgis from South Korea would one day be recognized all the way back in their homeland!
