Just one week left, but we're only at 32% of our fundraising goal... We know you loved seeing the representation in the Fringe. It takes a lot to program accessible and inclusive art on a shoestring budget, yet keeping it affordable so that you don't feel priced out of going to the theatre. We need your help so that we can continue commissioning bold, young creative voices. Please donate to Stand with the Fringe. We are aiming to raise $80,000 by 31 March 2026. Your donations above $10 will not only qualify for a 250% tax deduction (!!!), and will also be eligible for a dollar-for-dollar matching by the Tote Board’s Enhanced Fundraising Programme. If you're not in a place to give today, you can still help us by sharing this post. Every dollar that gets donated helps us keep the Fringe alive to commission more local artists! 👉👉👉 bit.ly/StandWithTheFringe Photo credit for @lesbianlovestorymusical : @crispianchan #SgFringe #SgTheatre

A Lesbian Love Story: The Musical popped its fringe cherry last week at the Singapore Fringe Festival and I couldn’t be prouder 🩷 As I sat in the audience listening to the gasps of delight and recognition, the oohs and the aaws at the lesbian kiss, as I heard audience members leave saying “omg that was so relatable”, I remembered WHY I wanted to write this so badly. I wanted to create a space where queer people can SEE themselves on stage in a story that actually is at the core of being human. I wanted to celebrate all the lesbians I know and give us all something we don’t have enough of- visibility and postitive representation. And I wanted so so desperately to do this in Singapore. I am so grateful to @sgfringe for being brave and bold enough to take on a show with LESBIAN at the front and centre of the work (change the title of the show?! No thanks!) and to @esplanadesingapore - sold out loud and proud lesbians in a mainstream theatre?! Who’d have thunk it! Also to the incredible cast (@littlemissnatcy @cocowangling @mitchfang @melballthemeatball), musicians (@janefyp @cashewroadjam) and crew (@deenshaqi @cherylleehh_ @rayann_condy @adrinabang @shernice.tyn Anis @dilys.ang @milquetoast.bread @doodle_dunce @kongbabaoo @_asmarzz_ @brendon_fernandez @lisayellowcube @oonshuan ) for being excited every step of the way, for all your hard and heart work, and of course @kluane.saunders and @henry._.allen who I am so lucky to co-create with 🩷 And to every single person who was part of the fundraisers in some kind of way, whether you attended, donated money, donated in kind, every person who attended the show, bought merch, donated to keep it going, spread the love on IG or by word of mouth, every person who has told me the music is STILL in their heads, thank you thank you thank you 🩷 this is our lesbian love story, and it’s going to be grand! 💥🩷🎉 @lesbianlovestorymusical #lesbianlovestory #newmusical #lesbianmusical #singaporetheatre Incredible 📸: @crispiphotos

What a phenomenal year. I've been a little out of this space this past year trying to get my Masters done and also spend more time with family in a time of grief, but my god - 2025 you were phenomenal. I got to be a part of a couple of amazing shows like Manimal Kingdom (by the lovely @polloycious ) and @riotdragshow PLUS do @pinkdotsg as one of the drag kings on that amazing stage. And @actfour_gyp ! Oh my god, Act Four! I choreographed my first show and got to meet some incredible folks I've come to deeply love and cherish. Including @davejonesactor who met my whole silly, lovely family who are such a big part of what makes my life so full. And to the people I've posted in the compilations here, you've made this year an incredible one. So thank you. For loving me, my art, and wanting to create together. Isn't that just amazing. Here's to 2026 - may you be as big and gay as 2025 was. #drag #dragking #cosplay #larp #bg3

And that's a wrap on Act Four! Big thank you to @actfour_gyp for hiring me as their stage director and their performance coordinator/choreographer. What an honour also to share my birthday with @davejonesactor who was a delight and a joy to eat, drink and be merry with. It was a pleasure entertaining you as your local drag bard. What a joy it is to see my art develop into something new. You've all been a lovely audience and I have much, much to say about everyone and everything, but my sappy sendings have all been sent to you lovely folks. I adore this hobby. I adore this job. I adore all of you. Till we meet again. Whether it's Faerûn, a distant mythical land at the fare, a fantasy ball, or at your local drag show 💋✨️ Kisses, Drew Pictures (Rosen the Bard) 🌹 #dragperformer #dragking #dragperformance #bg3 #baldursgate3

[Much Ado About Nothing, 10 - 22 June 2025] Role: Sound designer A 1960s Singaporean rendition of Much Ado About Nothing. This was like wayyy more stuff to do as compared to Hedda, mainly due to it being so music-based. Every scene transition had a song from SG in the 60s, and there was a whole multi-song dance segment. Vvv interesting and fun show! The intro sequence had a whole history of sg thing going on, with period accurate song recordings and radio broadcasts (which were so hard to find). Was and still so proud of it but sadly barely anyone could hear it cause it played during house open lol. Also!! Most ambience SFX were manually recorded by me at Botanic Gardens hehe. Many thanks to Marwyn for putting me on the show!! And all your "louder a bit"-s. Song choices were golden, so many have been stuck in my head since then. Cast & crew were many familiar faces so I was happy to work with them again!! 🫶🫶 Slide 1 Company photo Slides 2-3 my setup Slides 4 - 17 BTS taken with a disposable film camera Slide 18 Pre-show ritual Slide 19 Company dance segment Slide 20 Marwyn's closing speech 💕
