One week on from Cambridge Pride 2026, and we still can't get over what an AMAZING day it was!

The atmosphere across Jesus Green was incredible, full of joy, community and celebration 🥳 Thank you to everyone who came along, took part, supported our traders, cheered on the parade, watched the performances, volunteered, or helped make the day possible 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

We have lots more to share from the day, so keep an eye on our socials for more photos, videos and posts coming soon! There is also a link to our feedback form in our bio, please complete it to help make Cambridge Pride 2027 even better.

Thought it'd be cute to do an artist intro for new followers - welcome! This is me!

---

ID. All three slides have a yellow background with a lighter yellow diamond pattern, plus photos and handwritten text.

1. A drawing of Justa’s face grinning, next to a photo of Justa posing in a big hat and handmade cloak. Text: Drag Beast, multidisciplinary artist, admin gay, invisibly disabled queer interloper, genderfluid non-binary shapeshifter.

Underneath in a blackletter font it says "Artist Intro."

2. A photo of Justa dressed as the Ginch holding a mic and smiling.
Text: Justa Knight (he/they) emerged fully formed from a manhole on Burleigh Street in 2022 after a rabid sewer rat king performed his clown affirming surgeries. He believes creativity is a muscle and that means you can bench press with it. His body of work is about doing just that and helping others to do so too. Justa is an art school graduate (UCA) and AuDHD-haver. They have inflammatory bowel disease and fatigue so they need to lie down a lot!

3. A photo of Justa in a huge cape with a big fur collar, with his hands out in front of him.
Text: My favourite show I ever saw was a 24hr performance art festival in 2014 called Night Watch at Cambridge Junction. The Junction has been my dream venue since then! I'm so grateful I get to run a show there now.

My first drag number was "I Want a Monster to be My Friend" (aka the Monsterfucker act) performed at the Rebel Rebel Open Mic in September 2022, emceed by @max_legroom ! This is also when I met my brother-in-drag, @clit.eastwood.drag !
