ABOUT THE IMPACT SUMMIT:
The Impact Summit and Gala is the premier national gathering of Indian and South Asian American changemakers, including elected officials, organizers, advocates, artists, and community leaders, coming together to assert our belonging and act on it.

At a time when immigrants are under attack and belonging itself is being questioned, this year’s theme, We Belong, reflects both where our communities have been and what this moment requires of us.

Please join me and the incredibly talented @dholi_ram as we team up for our annual fundraiser to benefit @apidvrp.

this is your chance to start your Saturday off on the right foot while taking in the heart thumping beats of the dhol —all to benefit a really important organization that gives back right to our own community here in the DMV.

On a serious note, as you can imagine funding has been especially tough this year for organizations like DVRP who do such important work to help survivors of domestic violence. And your ticket can really go a long way to making it impact please consider donating even if you aren’t able to come on the 11th itself.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

What an absolute power-packed day & event curated for the Rotary Club women!!

A motivational talk on menopause to an energizing Pilates Bootcamp to the high-on Doonya Bollywood vibes, that lit the whole space.

Grateful to our beverage partner @atmosphere.in who made sure we stayed hydrated & refreshed.

Hello friends and DOers alike! It’s about that time to dust off those dandiyas (unless you’re Doonya CEO @public.rolations who has them handy at a moment’s notice) because Navratri is around the corner!

If you’re new here, any of my Doonya classes that fall during Navratri turn into special Garba/ Raas classes. So come 👏👏 & 👏👏👏 and 🏒🏒 with me (yes you’re still doing burpees on Tuesdays)!

Navratri runs September 22-October 2 this year so the schedule is as follows:
• Wednesday, Sept. 24, 6pm at @mintgymstudio
• Tuesday, September 30, 6:15pm at @e_dcjcc
• Wednesday, October 1 6pm at Mint

There is no class September 23 because it’s Rosh Hashanah and @e_dcjcc is closed that day and the next.

HMU with any questions and I look forward to seeing you there!

Come get “shaky shaky” with me Tuesdays 6:15 pm at the JCC and Wednesdays 6pm at Mint with Doonya: The Bollywood Workout.

We’re back with some new choreo, including this catchy summer song (this is not our choreo of course. Just jumping onto that hook step bandwagon loll). #shaky #shakyshaky #viraldance #bollywooddancefitness #doonya
