This year’s campaign begins in St Michael’s!

We’re out every Sunday from 6 September speaking to residents across the ward, and we’d love you to come with us.

10am to 1pm, join the dedicated WhatsApp group to coordinate specific location: https://chat.whatsapp.com/F0kszWI57sx8AfNQN3tJyS

Dave missed out by only 4 votes in May. Labour will be working hard to keep their two remaining seats, so we need to be out there talking to people every week between now and May.

No experience needed at all. We do half an hour of training before we go out, and a debrief before everyone heads home. You’ll never be sent out on your own.

When Dave was out and about in St Michaels he found people using the Pink sticker system. It's a system from the council to help stop fly tipping. Here is a link to find out how to organise pick ups

If you do however notice fly tipping you can report it using this link

Let's help keep our streets tidy.

Fun day meeting Rashid from the positive youth foundation with @greenpartyvictor and @doorstepdave followed by looking totally normal holding a colander in the middle of town to get a safe view of the eclipse.

Here’s the hard truth! Growing is great but the growing pains are real 😅😩

We’re so lucky to have gained a huge number of new members over the last year, but gosh it’s hard to keep up. That’s why the workshop we held this week was crucial. It’s important to reflect on the good and bad of our recent growth and local election campaign. That way we can improve the way we engage with our members and help more people see that The Green Party have the solutions to help Coventry.

If you’re a member, let us know how you’d like to engage with the party and what information and activities you would like to see from us in the future. 💚

Had a great day out knocking doors and chatting to residents in the (very) hot weather!
Loads of great conversations, lots of supporters and some important local issues raised that I'll follow up on to get sorted!
Thanks to everyone who joined (including those who came in later in the day and missed the photo!)

If you'd like to join us next time, all the details are in the link in my bio!

Congrats to Matt, Ester, Stephen and Tom from Coventry Green Party on getting elected in Coventry's council elections last week!
I went up to Coventry several times over the past month to help their campaigns and it was great to see the enthusiasm and energy to elect candidates with a vision for a fairer future
Unfortunately Dave missed out on becoming a councillor by only 4 votes - showing every vote really does count!

Thanks to everyone who came to help us deliver the final round of leaflets for St Michaels today. Such a huge effort. Particular thanks to our friends from the Austrian Greens for making us part of their trip! We hope to return the favour soon! 💚
