POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Today, we’re highlighting 4 of the incredible artists featured in our Trash Bash Auction: Charles H. Lee, Kristen Neville Taylor, Alexis Nutini, and Julia Policastro. We’re so grateful to share this community with such talented and generous artists. These artworks will be available in the Silent Auction to ticket holders at Trash Bash on November 11th, both in person and online. Learn more and get your tickets at the link in bio Artist 1: Charles H. Lee, Rites of Passage, 2026, Mixed media, found analog photos, stamps, newspaper clippings, gold leaf, antique stamps, 32” x 16” x 1.5” Artist Bio: Charles H. Lee works with things people have decided to keep and things people have discarded. The archive and the refuse share a material logic, both carrying what has been left behind and asking for someone willing to recognize that weight and do something with it. His practice explores history, memory, and how we construct an inclusive future in which all people can thrive. He interrogates these questions through a multidisciplinary practice that moves across photography, painting, assemblage, collage, installation, film, and sculpture, drawing from family archives, found objects, and the material record of ordinary lives. Artist 2: Kristen Neville Taylor, Two Suns, 2026, Glass, 9.5” x 7.625” x .25” Artist Bio: Kristen Neville Taylor is a Philadelphia artist whose diverse practice combines video, sculpture, and glass which converge playfully in installation style environments. Her work considers the impact of the stories we tell about nature calling attention to the systems and events that establish definitions and shape public perception of the environment. Artist 3: Alexis Nutini, Pendulum Swing XXI, 2021, Woodcut Monoprint, 41 x 31 Artist Bio: Alexis Nutini (b. Mexico City, Mexico; l. Philadelphia, PA) received a BA in fine art from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, St. Mary’s City and an MFA in printmaking from the Tyler School of Art & Architecture, Temple University, Philadelphia. Nutini runs Dos Tres Press, where he publishes his own prints and develops collaborative projects with other artists. The focus of Dos Tres Press is experimentation with relief tech
