Golf was only the beginning.

Once the round wrapped, the night became its own moment. Awards, stories from the stage, a live auction that had the whole room leaning in. Birdies for Bridges kept going long after the last putt dropped.

I got a sneak peek at The Harvest Yard @harvestatwoodinville on Saturday and took my partner in wine @pnwwinelife with me. There’s a lot to see. A few of the businesses were open and more to come soon. There’s lots of tasting rooms, restaurants, and retail all built around a courtyard with fireplaces and seating. It’s a lovely spot.

I spoke with the developer and he promised public bathrooms on the main level and they are looking a dog relief area.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of touring around @harvestatwoodinville during their sneak peek event yesterday!

Thanks to Shona from @winedivalifestyle for alerting me and inviting me to this preview event here in #woodinvillewa .

We started our day with tours of the townhomes (River Run and Vineyard Creek) near The Somm hotel, followed by sips of Rosé from various wineries set up on the patio at Bin 47 at @sommhotel .

We then were invited to explore The Yard at Harvest. Most of it isn’t open yet, but soon there will be shops, restaurants, many tasting rooms, a facials spa, a distillery, and a co-working space.

There is an art gallery on site, @vauntmodern that looked absolutely gorgeous, but I wasn’t able to go inside because of the overpowering coconut (?) smell emanating from inside.

Nearby, @farine_bakery_cafe and @olivebranchwoodinville are available for coffee, pastries and food gifts.

Hopefully someday there will be an ice cream shop, and dare we hope, a bookstore?

The developer promised us there will be lots of bathrooms on the main level, and I am still waiting to find out where the pet relief area will be.

Love the many fireplaces and cozy seating areas!

So far, we were able to sip wine outside or explore several tasting rooms:

I first tried Dossier at a big wine event two years ago. I had the opportunity while visiting Walla Walla to check out their downtown tasting room. It did not disappoint at all! Great hospitality, great wines and a great location. The wines are exactly what I love about Washington elegant but also powerful.

🍷 Happy National Pinot Noir Day! The only diva here is Pinot Noir. These legends just happen to have great taste in wine.

Elegant. Complex. A little temperamental. Pinot Noir has earned its reputation as the diva of the wine world—and when it's done right, nothing else quite compares.

I recently had the honor of capturing the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮, @lakewoldgardens ’ signature summer celebration in beautiful Lakewood, Washington.

Set among the gardens in full bloom, the evening brought together fine wine, an elegant dinner, an auction, and a wonderful community of guests and supporters—all coming together in support of Lakewold Gardens and its mission.

A special acknowledgment to the sponsors who helped make this beautiful evening possible: Trouvé’s Health Care Corporatio, @brugge_chocolates, @blitz.co.florist, @elgauchosteakhouse, @brownefamilyvineyards and @dossierwine.
