A classic St. Paul story: Bartolo Longo went from sinner to saint.⁠ ⁠ At one point, overwhelmed by his past, Bartolo wrote that he “experienced a deep sense of despair and almost committed suicide.” Then he remembered the words: “If you seek salvation, promulgate the Rosary. This is Mary’s own promise.” He wrote that these words “illumined my soul.” (Pope Benedict XVI, Homily at the Pontifical Shrine of Pompeii, October 19, 2008; EWTN)⁠ ⁠ And his response?⁠ ⁠ “If it is true… I will not leave this valley until I have propagated your Rosary.” (Bartolo Longo, as quoted in the Vatican’s 2025 canonization booklet)⁠ ⁠ God's mercy didn't leave Bartolo where it found him. We are all hungry for something beyond this world.⁠ ⁠ Share the authentic Catholic faith with your children—the saints, the angels, the sacraments, the miracles, and 2,000+ years of an epic love story with God our Creator—and they won't have to go seeking the supernatural in the wrong places.⁠ ⁠ The Church teaches that “from infancy to death human life is surrounded by [the angels’] watchful care and intercession.” (CCC 336) EWTN even recommends teaching children about their guardian angels and helping them develop a familiarity with them.⁠ ⁠ The Popcaks have made a similar point about Catholic family life: children need to experience the Faith as something alive in the home, not simply receive information about it. Their work on the Domestic Church emphasizes making faith part of the warmth, relationships, prayer, work, and ordinary life of the family.
