Meet Domitille Lochet from Miami, Florida! She is the Lead Speech-Language Pathologist at the University of Miami Childen's Hearing Program. She serves the families of children who are deaf/hard-of-hearing and has been in practice for 15 years.

She says: "My culminating project is a systematic review on the evidence of strategies used in auditory-verbal (LSL) therapy. My intention with this project (and next steps) is to challenge any misconceptions I may have on therapy approaches and strategies.

"My favorite thing about the SLPD program is that it is provides the tools to self-reflect and make improvements of own processes at work. It helps us answer questions such as: what is the evidence basis of the strategies I use? what is my teaching and learning philosophy? How can I evaluate a healthcare policy and be a drive for change? How can I improve a process that is delaying a service to my patients?"
