POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A few weeks ago I had the chance to capture the energy and elegance of the San Diego International Film Festival, and I’m finally sharing some of my favorite highlights.

From red-carpet portraits to candid moments, filmmakers, actors, creatives, and VIP guests — this festival always brings an incredible mix of style, personality, and talent.
Events like this remind me how much I love storytelling through photography: real people, real emotion, and the atmosphere that only a film festival can create.

Thank you to everyone who stepped in front of my camera, your confidence, style, and authenticity made these frames come alive. More photos soon.

Thank you to my friend, LT Larry Herter, and his fellow Landing Signal Officers for being out there on the LSO platform in the elements to ensure that we always got safely back aboard the ship. #Paddles #LSO #FLYNAVY #Tailhook #navalaviator #carrieraviation #paddles #appreciation

Thank you to all of the cast, crew, and our friends from the LA film industry who came out to see the first LA screening of “A Celebration of Life.” We kept our stats up by leaving nearly half of the audience in tears. Highlights of the weekend included an after party at Hollywood’s most exclusive speakeasy (The Hollywood American Legion Post 43) where the Adjutant was kind enough to have the karaoke machine set up just for us, and the Silicon Beach Film Festival awards ceremony where we were honored with “best inspirational short.” If you weren’t able to make this last screening, we have another screening next Sunday evening also in Hollywood where we won another “most inspirational” award. Sergio Cabrera is already crafting our invitation as I am typing this! 🥂

It was a privilege to attend the @meritxzoe.film at the iconic @hollywoodpost43. Military veteran turned director @kylehausmannstokes brought tears to our eyes with his tale of two female soldiers whose transition to the civilian world did not go smoothly. Eye opening discussions on mental health, gun safety, and suicide prevention in a surprisingly entertaining, riveting, and heartfelt story. Kudos to the leads, @hellomorgandixon and @haskiri, who were two powerhouses that perfectly depicted female soldiers/veterans.
