Indy! I'll have to say I did not expect to podium in a sold out event with this many competitors. My goal was to continue shake down of the new suspension from @downforcecoaching provided. Test the new @vmpperformance front pulley setup and give more data to @chicane23 for their setup of the car. The car and I got more in tuned with each segment. Huge improvements as we went along. Got faster and faster driving pretty conservatively. Thanks to @igniteracingfuel ignite red for keeping this boosted 5.2 cool and alive lap after lap. Since it was our first time here, we ran full sessions to learn this iconic track. #deatschwerks #driveoptima ##andersoncomposites #audiomidwest

When you race as husband and wife, keeping track of whose gear is where is just part of the weekend chaos. 😂

Luckily, Danny is a lot better at coaching than he is at keeping track of his fire suit. Downforce Coaching is the Official Coaching Partner of DriveUSCA, helping drivers build confidence, improve their skills, and get faster behind the wheel.

One person and vehicle combo that I’d been dying to see for years was @regularassmustang and his very cool Mustang! It’s always hard to see the vehicles from the opposite coast as there are so many cool cars out West but this year they made the trip to @umimotorsportspark for KOTM this year! Had a great time talking to Matt for a few minutes Thursday evening before things began! The car is also so nice and photos can’t capture that until you see it in person! @ford @fordracing @fordmustang @mustang_lifestyle @mustanghubmag @mustang_zones_only @protouringdotcom @protouring @qa1motorsports @maximummotorsports @cortexracing @modularmotorsportsracing @ossparts @ajhartmanaero @exedyusa @delta.abs @wilwoodracing @wilwooddiscbrakes @downforcecoaching @optimabatteries #ford #umimotorsportspark #umikingofthemountain #mustang #leyt5photography

Class winners from regional weekend events qualify to compete in the ultimate year-end championship showdown!

Willow Springs Raceway is located in Rosamond, California just a short drive north from Los Angeles. Substantial elevation changes and high average speeds make it one of the fastest and most challenging racetracks in the U.S. Willow Springs has been featured in numerous forms of media including movies, television, music videos and video games.

Founded in 1953, “The Fastest Road in the West” continues to bring excitement and adrenaline lap after lap. From Big Willow to the newly renovated Streets Of Willow, drivers are able to improve themselves and their vehicles with seat time in an unforgettable experience.

Let us know what you think happened to the motor on Day 2 @umimotorsportspark King of the Mountain. Trackside Diagnosis: No engine codes, wiring seems fine, plugs and coil packs ✔️, cylinder 6 possibly not firing.

Mustang had the pace this weekend, but the car gods had other plans. The motor was running on 6 or so cylinders first run out and still not sure why. She’s already loaded up as we watch the top 48 shootout at @umimotorsportspark king of the mountain 🙌 You definitely need to experience this facility if you haven’t been here before! 10/10 experience Thank you for the hospitality and generosity all weekend long @umi_ramey

Customer Spotlight

Brent Cajthaml, Las Vegas, NV, 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z51 LT2

As a child growing up, I had an uncle that had just about every Corvette. I have always been a Corvette fan and at the age of 50 I could afford to buy one. I started with a 2019 C7 when the C8 rumor became reality, I was on waiting list at a local dealer here in Las Vegas. I received the call and was able to place my order at MSRP. I received the call that my car VIN# 315 was at the dealership the day Las Vegas was shut down for Covid. I was told I had an hour to pick up the car or it would locked up inside the dealer, if I didn’t pick it up due to Covid. We picked it up and put quite few miles and smiles on the car as there wasn’t much to do during Covid.

We decided to go with the Anderson Composites Dry Carbon Roof Scoop. This resulted in about 20 lbs. of weight savings and cooler engine temps.
