Sometimes, as GP veterinarians, we are the only option a patient has.

Not every client can afford specialty care. Not every family lives close enough to a specialty hospital. Not every referral is realistic.

And while we should always know our limits, seek help when we need it, and refer when referral is possible and appropriate… sometimes our patients need us to be willing to do something hard.

Sometimes, with appropriate preparation, support, and informed consent, trying is what gives that patient a chance they otherwise wouldn’t have had.

GP medicine asks us to wear a lot of hats. We won’t always have all the answers. But we owe it to our patients to keep learning, growing, and sometimes step outside our comfort zone when the alternative is doing nothing.

Because sometimes, you may be that pet’s best—and only—hope. 🩵

Heat stroke can turn deadly in minutes. 🥵🐾

Know the signs:
• Excessive panting
• Thick drool
• Bright red gums
• Weakness or collapse
• Vomiting/diarrhea
• Seizures

If you suspect heat stroke:
❄️ Move them to a cool area.
💧 Use cool (not ice-cold) water.
🏥 Head to your veterinarian ASAP.

And please—never leave your dog in a parked car. Cracking the windows is not enough.

I’ve felt more blessed this year than I have in many years. For the first time in a long time, I genuinely feel like God is with me and that I’m finally walking the path He created for me.

In just seven months, almost everything has changed. My career. My relationships. My finances. My spiritual walk. My perspective. My priorities.

One of the best decisions I made was joining a group of men who weren’t satisfied with staying the same.Men pursuing growth, purpose, and the men God created them to become.

Personally, I’ve been chasing something deeper than success. I’ve been chasing legacy.

Not what I own.
Not what I accomplish.
Not what my bank account says.
Not the title next to my name.

I’m chasing the impact my life leaves on others. The kind that raises the standard of character, integrity, discipline, and personal excellence so the next generation, including my own family, inherits something better than we did.

I don’t know exactly what that legacy will become, but I know it’s worth building. I want it to create a ripple effect that extends far beyond my own life.

These pictures aren’t about me. They’re about what happens when real men come together with humility, accountability, and a commitment to become better husbands, fathers, leaders, business owners, and servants.

I met incredible people from every walk of life, all united by one mission: become better than yesterday. Thank you @liveelevatedlife

One of the highlights for me was asking @urbanmeyercoach a question, in short: “How do you build a culture that expects greatness before there are results to point to?”

His answer, or at least my interpretation of it, was simple:

Leadership × Culture × Behavior = Performance.

Leadership shapes culture -> Culture reinforces behavior -> Behavior produces performance.

Every decision I make now runs through that framework. Because performance in business, fitness, family, and faith, doesn’t begin with results.

It begins with leadership. And I’m all in on that mission.🏁🥇🏎️💨
