HOW I PLAN STUDIES?
Also, SWIPE RIGHT for some rules that I follow and a glimpse of my Journal.

Okay, so let's begin with what and why you want to plan?
โ€ข Set your goal, be it clearing university exams or entrance exams like NEET PG.
โ€ข Now, know what you need to do to achieve that goal.
โ€ข Divide subjects, topics, importants, MCQs, everything.
โ€ข Then, according to your caliber divide these tasks into days and months.

NOTE: No study plan is perfect, you do what suits you the best

Now let's see how I do things:
โ€ข First of all have a planner/calender:
โ–ช๏ธŽ You DON'T need to buy expensive planners or make your journal look all artistic, it's all your choice.
โ–ช๏ธŽ Looking at studygrams you might feel that way, but trust me any notebook is fine.
Infact, your phone is more than enough.
.

โ€ข I prefer to set a monthly goal.
โ€ข Then divide those objectives into weekly tasks. I
โ€ข If I am in my study zone, I can put as many as 4-5 tasks in a day. Otherwise, it's mostly 2-3 tasks everyday.
๐Ÿ’กIt's very important to make your to-do list achievable.
There is no point crowding the planner with unrealistic and overwhelming task, then feeling anxious later.

โ€ข it's important to categorize. Know what subjects you want to finish this month, what units, how much time you need for revision, and categorize your plan accordingly.

๐Ÿ’ก We all have 24 hours each day, even if you sleep for 8hours or 10( lockdown brings it's own lethargy) you still have nearly 16 hours each day. Now, if you give 6 hours to study you still get to have 10 hours for yourself.
Imagine, what you can do in those 6 hours! Finishing a task two in 6 hours is not a big deal!

โ€ข How I categorize my plan?
Here's the thing, I study extremely slowly. So I like to categorize.
I keep 1 main target in a day, it could be anything, a 128mins lecture or reading a whole chapter from PSM.
But, I make sure the other tasks are not as lengthy. I keep them short or fun.

โ€ข Now let's ask ourselves, why do we fail?
1. DISTRACTION! DISTRACTION! DISTRACTION!
keep your phones away from you when you're studying, use apps that don't allow you to use your phone when you're studying.

RESOURCES I USED IN 2ND PROFF

Hello Everyone๐ŸŒป
Hope y'all are safe at home and doing good.

Here is my 2nd proff journey:
( Well, study-wise. We all know 9 months of my 2nd year were spent at home, so, not much of a journey there๐Ÿฅฒ)

1. Pathology:
It was my favorite subject in 2nd year.
At first I studied from Robbins and Marrow.
Then as exam came nearer, I switched to Harsh Mohan. It is a really good book.
I tried Ramdas Nayak and Pathoma too.
( come on guys, I was in 2nd year for nearly 18 months, I had time to explore all these books)
Anyway, these two are great books too, and good for your proff exams. I just felt more at ease with Harsh Mohan.
And yes! Osmosis, no better source than it to make your concepts clearer.
.

2. Pharmacology: Big thanks to @dr.pharmaniac Sir!๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป
Understanding pharma without his help would have been difficult.
I studied from KD Tripathi throughout my 2nd year.
As exams arrived, switched to Shanbagh.
Here is the thing, now, I'd recommend everyone to read from Shanbagh first and then study from KDT, it'll make the understanding better.
.
3. Microbiology: I'm just glad I made it through this subject.
I studied from Baweja first because this subject scared me at first. But, once I had the understanding of the subject I switched to shastry, and trust me there is no better book for Microbiology than shastry. Same goes for parasitology.
Marrow lectures are great too.
.
4. Forensic: I'm not the right person to recommend FMT. I barely studied it.

Hope this was helpful.
2nd year subjects are fun and important to build your basics for final year subjects. Read them thoroughly. And remember to make your own notes from the beginning.
From my experience, what you remember in the examination hall is what you wrote on some corner of that page in your notes๐Ÿคญ
.
Good Luck Guys!
And be safe๐Ÿ’œ

So, This pandemic has really led us to having unproductive days & being our laziest self.

I struggled a lot in 2020 lockdown to focus, But after wasting few months of procrastination & binge watching Netflix, I decided to study effectively, because You never know how far lockdownโ€™s gonna go.
So itโ€™s better to stop ๐Ÿ›‘ wasting time and study effectively.

๐Ÿ’ฅHere are 5 simple ways you can study effectively in LOCKDOWN:

1.Make a to-do-list ๐Ÿ—’ every morning:

By this, youโ€™ll not be wasting your precious time thinking what to study and straight away get to work and get things done.

2.Have a neat study space:

Having a sorted study space is very important for you to study effectively. It shouldnโ€™t necessarily be aesthetically pleasing or fancy, Just a tidy one and not too messy will get you into the mood of studying.

3.Creating a soothing and harmonious atmosphere:

You can do this by choosing a perfect place for you, like your desk or maybe outdoors where you get enough sunlight(sunlight really tends to brighten up your mood + vit-D โœ”๏ธ).
You can change study spaces accordingly whatever makes you comfortable(sometimes I love studying in bed, but only sometimes, I end up sleeping ๐Ÿ˜… so take the risk wisely)

4.Listen to lo-fi music:

Listening to lo-fi music (low-fidelity) gives you an anti- stress effect and makes your mood to study, If you like listening to songs while studying, this is the best type.

5.Make a nice cup of tea or coffee:

Drink tea/coffee or just water while youโ€™re studying, keep mid-study-snacks nearby so that you donโ€™t get up every time you tend to get hungry and end up having a long break & wasting so much time. You must take long breaks at lunch & dinner time..

These things worked for me, I hope theyโ€™ll be able to help you too.. โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ If you have any other tips which has helped you, comment down.

P.S. These are some selfies which I took in hospital in 2019.. and I miss getting ready for classes & going to hospital ๐Ÿ˜“ when will this lockdown end, 2021 has started to feel more like 2020 ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ
