Today I released the first piece of recorded music for Real Sunnies. Feels good.

The song is called There's A Way. Thanks to Kat Mear for playing violin.

Also very stoked to be announcing that there will be an album released on November 20th.

And thanks to @jamiesonmoore for the album cover photo and @dr___sure for the cover design.

Enjoy it my friends x

Hometown headline for our 8th band bday !

In November 2018 we kicked off a month long Tote front bar residency which kinda snowballed out of control;
♾️ 19(!) Aus runs, 3 Euro tours, 2 UK tours, a New Zealand tour, a [recacted] tour...
♾️ Releases out the wazoo: 4 LP’s, at least 4 EP’s, 2 7”s, a split 7” with @benchpressband, a split 10” with @holyfband, a live LP, a swag of cassettes and mixtapes...
♾️ Stacks of sick support runs: TFS, TISM, King Gizz, Ty Segall, Cosmic Psychos...
♾️ An evolving collective of registered Dr’s: touring as a 4-piece, then 5-piece, doing Meredith as an 8-piece, recording at Camp @alowhum as an 11-piece.

Feelin very grateful and fired up for more. Gonna dust off a bunch of old bangers for this one (suggestion box is open) before we move onto new year new album new new new.

8 is my favourite number cos it looks like infinity ♾️ Come celebrate infinite years of U.P. — Friday November 13 at da new Smith St Hotel (FKA Gaso).

Dougal of @marthouserecords popped by to drop off these two legendary releases! 💫

@drsuresunusualpractice ‘No Pigs / Desksitter’ 7” on recycled green vinyl, and @thebillymummys ‘A Date Not To Forget’ LP on black vinyl (a very special release for his Dad’s old band 🥰)

Get around it on Tweak! Marthouse Records is sadly wrapping up after 10 years of hard work, so these releases might not be available for long 👀💚

"10 YEARS OF ART AS A REVOLUTIONARY TOOL"

20 page printed publication of spiels and liner notes for @marthouserecords

Marthouse Records just wrapped up their label (home to @drsuresunusualpractice) and they have always been strong advocates for all things DIY and weird and wonderful punk + garage sounds of Melbourne

I've always wanted to design for Marthouse so sharing this project feels crazy

Nonetheless it was a real treat to design this zine to forever honour Marthouse in the best form - PRINT

Thanks to the king of DIY for the opportunity @dr___sure

Marthouse Forever! 🫶
