Let’s talk: ✨Benefits of Somatic Movement✨

I have been dancing since I could walk on two feet! I was a professional dancer since I was 14 and still take classes, including heels and hip hop. Movement is something that I’ve found sacred in my life and it has changed its form many times.

At this point in my journey, I’ve found an intuitive love for movement and seeing where my body wants to take me. As a Certified Somatic Movement Teacher, I have found countless benefits to intuitive movement and the joy of bringing this practice to others.

Miss the livestream with @dr_freda_coaching yesterday? You can watch the full replay on my page for more!📲

These months are literally flying by 😩

Woke up and realized it was February already. Here’s our monthly lineup 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

• Saturday, 2/7 we will be hosting our Galentine’s Day event (A Love Letter to Me). Last year we had so much fun so it’s only right to host a part two with my lovely girls @millionairestace @velvetbananas
Vendors:
@beautifulbouquets_chi 💐
@sophisticatedopulence1 🍷
@shoptrulytoya 👙

• Wednesday 2/25 join us for The Huddle. January’s conversation was so good because the men did not mind sharing and the ladies did not mind listening. I meaaaan it was a little push back but 🤷🏾‍♀️🤔😂 @auribani

• Saturday 2/28 @velvetbananas will be hosting a Pimp My Purse DIY workshop for the girlie girls!

Note: The Girls Lockerroom Crew will be vending with the Southloop Market at Water Tower every Sunday from now through end of March from 12p to 4p on the 4th floor. Come check us out 🥰

Real talk for a moment… We're building something meaningful, and we need the right people in the room.

On Tuesday 1/20 at 7pm CST, we're hosting a virtual vision board workshop called From Survival to Desire. This isn’t about cutting out pictures and calling it a day—it’s about doing the inner work, getting clear, and intentionally manifesting what you actually want next.

I’m keeping this space small on purpose, and yes… I’m asking for support. If you’ve been feeling stuck in survival mode and know you’re ready to shift into desire, this is for you. Come ready, come committed, come as you are.

Link to grab your ticket and join us:

Thank you to everyone who’s already showing up, and supporting—your presence truly matters.

Yesterday, #DeltaSigmaThetaSororityInc celebrated our 113th #FoundersDay on 1/13 and the #MetaVerse was not allowing me to post. But as you can see, I’ve been “Anchored in Legacy • Evolving with Intention” for #20years now and not letting up🙌🏾❤️🤍🔺🐘🐥‼️ Note: My last few pics are with my Soror/Mother and #theKens trying to throw it up w/me. I truly look forward to sharing this bond w/any of my girls 🔺🙌🏾🫶🏾.

Oh and I also had to share the new calendar declaring an abrupt end to January by @pyramids_and_diamonds. Although I’m a bit saddened by the cancellation of my birthday, as the 22 once demonstrated, “I’d rather serve than socialize.” And we just gotta do what we gotta do 🤷🏾‍♀️ plus I did enough celebrating #J5 and yesterday, so my old azz is tired anyway 😆😆😆.

All jokes folks! I hope everyone enjoys their Founders Day. See y’all again on January 21st 😘🥂✨
