2025 What A Year!! 🥳

To sum up my year, I’ll break it down band by band...

Luke J Barrett/Backdrops:
Me and @olliesteeledrums blasted into the year on my 23rd birthday, and did some of our best work yet - especially with the help of Ollie's expert live sound-tech work 📻
We managed to get a few more originals under our belt, and an amazing recording during August, which is on its way to being released in 2026 🗓️
My favourite shows have been at @brunswickpub where we have been joined by @delphinesmusic twice, who always adds so much depth to my originals 🎭
Unfortunately I had to move out of Brighton this summer, which sadly meant we haven't been performing as much as we want 🎫 But looking to do more in the future, especially with two new musicians @rowanbmusic and @drago_drum 🎸 who have stepped in for two gigs so far (with Keith on drums for one, and bass for the other - now thats a one-man rhythm section) 🎶

Luke & Delphine:
For months an months, I have been playing with @delphinesmusic twice a week minimum, and this year things have paid off 🎵 Musically we're tighter than ever and have played our best shows including a charity event at @chalk_venue 🪉 We've done so many gigs and open mics around the Brighton area, and each one has been such a blast for me 🌼 It's always a pleasure to play music with my best buddy 🦗 I've been so proud of the work we've accomplished together and separately 🧜🏻‍♀️

Bond Street Beat:
Me and @olliesteeledrums joined forces with @beatle.dan to make Brightons swankiest 60s mod cover band @thebondstreetbeat 🎯 We busked as much as we could and we just kept rocking out all the greatest 60s pop-rock tunes 🔊 This was so fun and had such a laugh, especially witnessing some 'intresting' audience members 😬 Hopefully more gigs next year when we are all in the same place 🗺️

Liverpool Lads:
When I moved out of Brighton, it seemed like great timing to join a Beatles tribute band after years of doing little collaborations and solo gigs 🍏 So far I've rocked out two gigs with the band, a lot of tiktoks, and a suprise movie premiere 🪲 Loads more to come next year...

Krásný první máj všem 💗// It’s a “love day” in Czech Republic today when we kiss our loved one under a blossoming cherry tree 🌸

The tradition says that a girl who is kissed under a cherry blossom tree will stay beautiful all year round. However, if there aren’t any cherry blossom trees around, couples will often kiss under whatever blooming tree is available 😁👍🏻
