Brava to alumna @ari_ferch -- a double @ocumusictheater / @ocu.vp major from the studio of @drcatherinemcdaniel starring as Liesl in @soundofmusicontour -- for her new interview with Brandy McDonnell of @_theoklahoman !

"They definitely prepare you very well ... at OCU," she told @brandybamok , who notes: "The Spokane, Washington, native said she first came to Oklahoma to visit her sister, @natalyafisher15 , a 2018 OCU graduate who appeared in @lyrictheatreokc 's productions of "Assassins," "Titanic" and "A Christmas Carol." 'She enjoyed her time at OCU, and I could just see the training that she received throughout the years. I'd visit the campus, and it felt very welcoming and known - less scary than other colleges,' Ferch said. 'I'd wanted to do ballet, and I was nervous to get into the performing and theater world, because it's intense. And Oklahoma definitely felt like the most calming and peaceful and wonderful audition.'" #GoStars
