The older I get, the more I realize how incredibly blessed I am. ❤️

I've always been a woman with big dreams, endless ambitions, and a never-ending list of things I want to accomplish. I'm used to working hard, pushing boundaries, building something meaningful, and constantly striving for more.

But somewhere along the way, I've learned that the greatest accomplishments in life aren't necessarily the ones we put on our résumés.

They're the people we come home to.

I have a husband I love, who supports me and shares this crazy, beautiful journey with me. I have wonderful children who remind me every single day what truly matters. And I have a career that gives me purpose, independence, and the privilege of making a difference in people's lives.

Is my life perfect? Absolutely not. There are exhausting days, difficult decisions, sacrifices, and moments when balancing it all feels nearly impossible.

But I wouldn't trade this life for anything.

As I enter this new chapter of my 40s, my priorities are becoming clearer.

I still have goals. I still want to grow, create, achieve, and experience everything life has to offer.

But the one thing I wish for more than anything is health.

Health for my children. Health for my husband. Health for myself. The gift of time together. More memories, more adventures, more ordinary mornings, more laughter around the dinner table.

Because at the end of the day, success means very little if we don't have the health and time to enjoy it with the people we love.

And that, to me, is the greatest luxury of all. ❤️

Beyond aesthetics, it all starts with healthy skin. ✨

Such a beautiful evening with EPICUTIS—science, meaningful connections, and so much inspiration.

My journey with EPICUTIS started in a very personal way. After moving to Houston, I developed terrible contact dermatitis on my face. Dermatology visits, prescription topicals, and countless treatments followed, but those stubborn red patches remained.

Then, by God’s help, Melissa @epicutis_melissahtx from EPICUTIS crossed paths with Dr. Climov @drclimov . I started a complete EPICUTIS regimen with HYVIA® Crème, Oil Cleanser, and Lipid Serum. About two months later, the red spots were gone—and I never looked back.

But what made me stay wasn’t simply my own experience. It was understanding the science, ingredient philosophy, and formulations behind the products.

As a functional medicine provider, I’m very intentional about what I recommend—especially during stages of life when women are already thinking carefully about what they put in and on their bodies.

Today, I offer EPICUTIS to my fertility patients, my perimenopause and menopause patients, and women who simply want to minimize unnecessary harsh ingredients while still using sophisticated, science-driven skincare.

Hormonal changes can affect the skin in so many ways—from dryness and sensitivity to changes in barrier function. Before we chase every treatment, peel, laser, or injectable, I believe in building a solid foundation: healthy, supported skin.

That philosophy is also why EPICUTIS became part of what we offer at Your Aesthetic Edge. We don’t put products on our shelves simply because they’re beautiful or trendy. I want skincare I understand, believe in, personally use, and feel comfortable recommending to my patients.

So this EPICUTIS evening felt especially meaningful. 🖤

From patient, to believer, to provider—sometimes the best partnerships really do begin with your own story.

My recipe for looking and feeling good in your 40s ✨

No magic. No single treatment. No “anti-aging” miracle.

It’s the boring basics done consistently… with a little help from technology. 😉

🥄 8 hours of sleep
🥄 ~1 g of protein per lb of body weight
🥄 Resistance training 3x/week
✨ A touch of Everesse @everesse_skin to support collagen production and skin firmness
✨ And a pinch of ONDA Pro @ondapro_northamerica_official for those stubborn areas and definition you’ve been fighting for at the gym

Because aesthetic treatments should never replace the work you do for your health—they should complement it.

I want strong muscles. Strong bones. Good metabolic health. Healthy hormones. Good skin. And yes… I also want to look good naked. 😂

My 40s are not about trying to look 25.

They’re about building a body that carries me well into my 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond—while enjoying a little modern technology along the way.

Consistency is the real fountain of youth. Everything else is the finishing touch. 💗

EVERESSE is every woman over 40's new best friend. ✨
As a female longevity and hormone health expert, I'm extremely selective about the technologies I recommend.

EVERESSE is one of the few devices that truly impressed me—and it's no surprise it has been featured in ELLE, Forbes, Byrdie, Goop, People en Español, and Modern Luxury.

As we age, collagen production naturally declines, leading to skin laxity. EVERESSE uses next-generation monopolar radiofrequency to deliver heat deep into the dermis, stimulating your body's own collagen and elastin production for firmer, tighter, healthier-looking skin.

What makes it different? Unlike many older RF technologies that required multiple treatments, EVERESSE delivers noticeable skin tightening in as few as two sessions, with little downtime and a comfortable treatment experience.

Natural. Elegant. Science-backed.

✨ Schedule your consultation with me @functionalfnp to see if EVERESSE is right for you.
