Our Class of 2026 Dollars for Scholars Eagles attended the annual Suited for Success event held at Eastern Michigan University. The entire @drd4s Class of 2026 from all participating Metro Detroit schools were recognized for their hard work and academic dedication. Students had the opportunity to speak in front of all their peers to share their reflections, and then each school was called up on stage for the students to announce their college commitments. The event celebrated all of the Dollars for Scholarsโ€™ achievements and reinforced the bright futures ahead for this exceptional group. Congrats again!

What happens after access is granted? Last month, I had the honor of serving as keynote speaker for Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholarsโ€™ 13th Annual Celebration Luncheon. Today, I returned to support their Suited for Success eventโ€”welcoming students and helping them think about how they navigate the transition from graduation to the start of their next chapter. Because the real work begins after the scholarship is awarded and the graduation tassel is shifted to the opposite side. Grateful to the partners investing in these students and to Eastern Michigan University for hosting. Colleges and universitiesโ€”this is where the next chapter begins. #FinishWhatYouStart #CandyGirlMentality #DollarsForScholars #StudentSuccess #HigherEd

CareerSpring recently had the pleasure of moderating @drd4s Alumni Panel in #Detroit. This was a valuable opportunity for the class of 2026 to hear from alumni their experiences navigating post-graduate life. At CareerSpring, we approach partnership as more than an opportunity to share free career resources: we're dedicated to uplifting our Partner's missions at all angles. Class of 2028 Dollars for Scholars Eagles made their debut for Project Runway at Eastern Michigan University this week! The students toured the campus, learned how to apply to colleges - including EMU, and explored the truths versus myths about financial literacy. A fun icebreaker between all of the attending high school scholars included squaring off against 15 other Michigan schools in a Rock, Paper, Scissors competition! It is was a great kick-off field trip; where we learned we may certainly have a future โ€œEMU Eagleโ€ among the group! @drd4s

Doing the important etiquette and leadership work of @thescarletway alongside game changing organizations like @drd4s is so fulfilling and impactful, and it's a treat to do it! Here's a small clip of our work and impact this year! Also, shoutout to @leosage_images, always professionally doing her thing in the background. The leaders at the organization are top tier and if they actually craved the spotlight, I would tag them, but they don't! They quietly do their work on behalf of our future leaders and it's impressive to see. Shout out to you silently though, CF. โค๏ธ #etiquette #leadership
