Today, we recognize Indigenous Peoples' Day and honor the histories, cultures, contributions, and continued presence of Indigenous peoples and communities.

It's an opportunity to listen, learn, and recognize the Indigenous communities whose stories and traditions continue to shape our shared world.

Next Level Scholars visited Michigan State University! Scholars toured campus, grabbed a bite in the dining hall, and learned all about Living Learning Communities, getting a real feel for what life as a Spartan could look like. Moments like these help bring the college experience to life and get our scholars even more excited about what's ahead! 💚🤍 by @drd4s

When you hear "event planning" you might not think of nonprofits, but it plays a huge role behind the scenes! 🎟️

Meet Grace, our Program Coordinator! From welcoming scholars off the bus to checking off detailed packing lists, she manages the details of our events to ensure they run successfully. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Community Engagement from Michigan State University's Residential College in the Arts and Humanities.

A Program Coordinator at a nonprofit supports the planning and execution of programs, handling the logistics that keep everything running on time and on track. They work closely with staff and participants to make sure every detail, big or small, is covered. If you enjoy staying organized, solving problems on the fly, and making experiences run seamlessly, this could be the role for you!
