fell in love at a writing retreat in greece last year and this year I continued falling over and over again… with the artists, with the people who make it possible, with the mentors who so freely share their knowledge (@asgharthegrouch & @safiamafia), and with remembering that art isn’t just created for notebooks it’s made for community, for healing, and for the expansion of the world

Yesterday the Baddies gathered for our annual event and it was the experience that we all needed!

Our theme for 2024 is UNPLUGGED! Unplugging from:

Unhealthy Relationships
Social Media
Negative thinking
The culture
Etc.

And plugging into

GOD
Forgiveness
Faith
& things that align with our purpose.

We can’t say THANK YOU enough to all the Baddies who secured The BAG with such style and grace. Our appreciation for @deedeefreeman and @ohheyykay runs deep. Thank you both for your inspiration and influence.

I’m currently healing from a minor knee injury that I got from *not* Pilates and after two weeks of rest, I finally got back on the reformer today. I focused on exercises that were easy on the knees and was quickly reminded of why I love Pilates so much. It’s truly customizable and easy to make modifications based on where you are that day. Sequencing movements is often a creative process for me and today was no exception as I listened to my body and allowed what she was saying to guide me through my flow. #pilates #pilatesinstructors #reformerpilates

Something amazing happens when we are brave enough to ask the questions, have the simple conversations and try to understand. I admit to having a tendency of move too fast and not giving space for those questions that could lead to understanding. But, we know that if ya live long enough, you will either do better or suffer a cycle of frustration. I want to thank this Thursday's guest on the @braveinvisionpodcast, @aaron_abernathy for sharing his heart on how if we give each other space, we can move from anger to disappointment to understanding. Can we say that!?!? We are not suppose to live off crumbs when we've been lovingly blessed with a feast! That includes how we love and care for ourselves.
