My reading journal/mini album has been so fun to create. 🤍 For those wanting to get started:
Step 1: screenshot the covers of your favorite books
Step 2: print the covers
Step 3: add them to a journal/album and add favorite quotes from the book, an item that goes along with the book, or simply journal about why you loved the book
Step 4: use alpha stamps to add the title of the book - reading/book themed stamps are fun to add too
Step 5: be sure to rate the book with stars ⭐️ (I use stickers, stamps or die cut stars for this)

A page full of vintage trays from @kellybangscreative is exactly what I needed to document a #10on10scrapbooking page from March!

To be honest, I had zero idea how I would use the trays but I printed them anyway because GAH! they’re gorgeous!

Once I had my 10 photos laying out I came across the trays, counted to make sure there were 10 (then added one more for the title of course) and started cutting away!

Finished it off with some fun stamps and my numbered captions!

Have you ever looked at something only to find yourself instantly transported back to a distant memory?

That’s how I feel when I look at Issue 30 (Chasing Sunshine) of Crafty Babe Magazine from @retrohipmama

First, the cover brings me straight back to California. It was shot in Palm Springs. Fun fact - we lived just north of Palm Springs in the middle of the Mojave Desert for 3 years. That’s where my Ellie was born (and for years she thought she was literally born in the middle of the desert, not a hospital).

But then when I open the magazine I am smacked with pretty much all the childhood memories.

One of my favorite memories is riding bikes with my neighbors. As we got older, we were able to ride a little farther from home. Like to the store for some ice cream. I can remember it like yesterday.

Which is why I was so excited I had this photo of Lauryn and her friend riding around just like I used to do. I had to use it for my magazine project - which features printables from the magazine and stamps from the fabulous @kerribradfordstudio

If you’re a mag subscriber you can check out my full layout. If not, what are you waiting for?! 😉

Today’s the day! Grab your sunshine alphas while you still can! Here’s a quick peek of me having a play with the lowercase but the uppercase and the number set are sooo good! I’m loving pairing all three with the Crafty Babe Magazine issue 30 stamp set, printables and color scheme!
