One of the messages I shared at Empowered Moms this weekend was about the woman we’re becoming. 🤎

We often think of “someday” as a moment waiting for us in the future.

But here’s what we sometimes forget…

Someday is being shaped by the choices we make today.

Not necessarily the big, life-changing decisions. Sometimes, it’s the smallest ones.

Grateful to have shared this message with an incredible room of women at Empowered Moms. @dremilyjacobs

Thank you @aleksheide for capturing.

One of our FAVORITE things about ShinePages? Getting a front-row seat to the amazing things the women in our community are doing! 💛

Like the incredible Dr. Emily Jacobs, founder of Empowered Moms! ✨

Emily is an author, speaker, coach, event host, philanthropist, and longtime ShinePages member who is doing BIG things to empower women and moms to step into their fullest potential.

I had the honor of joining Emily as a panel speaker at her recent Empowered Moms Live event, and WOW. What a beautiful day of connection, inspiration, and powerful conversations!

Emily, we’re so proud to be a small part of what you’re building and can’t wait to see what you do next! 🥂

Here’s to women building businesses, creating opportunities, and making a difference. We’re cheering you on every step of the way! 💛

Here’s something you might not expect from me…

I actually get REALLY uncomfortable walking into rooms where I don’t know everyone. Yep. Me. The girl who hosts events for hundreds of women.

But this week I showed up anyway. Twice.

She’s You and Empowered Moms. Two completely different events, but both were exactly what I didn’t know I needed.

The conversations. The connections. The encouragement. Being surrounded by women who are doing big things and genuinely cheering for other women doing big things.

Here’s your reminder: You can’t grow if you only stay where you’re comfortable.

Sometimes you need to get out of your own way, walk into the room, and let yourself be inspired.

And if you’re not putting yourself in rooms with people who challenge you, encourage you, and remind you what’s possible… you might be doing it wrong.

Go to the event. Meet the women. Take up space.

Even if you have to give yourself a pep talk in the parking lot first.

The best kind of networking? Being in a room full of women who genuinely want to know you, support you, and see you win.

Real conversations, meaningful connections, and leaving with a full cup.

More rooms like this, please!

There’s a lot of power in believing things can work out — even before you know exactly how. 💧✨

That mindset is part of what built Detroit Well.

We believe better choices start with curiosity. Asking better questions. Learning what’s actually in the water we drink every day. Understanding filtration, hydration, and the different types of water available to us — and then choosing what feels aligned for our homes, our families, and our future.

You don’t have to know everything before you begin. Sometimes you just have to be willing to learn, experience something different, and see where it takes you.

That’s what the Water Warrior Movement is all about: education, access, community, and helping more people become intentional about the water they drink every single day.

Keep believing. Keep learning. Keep asking what’s possible.

And always know your water. 💦

Thank you, @dremilyjacobs for inviting me to moderate the More Than Mom panel at Empowered Moms Live.

I wasn’t prepared for how emotional it would feel to see women from so many different parts of my life in one room. Thank you @badewithmic for literally letting me cry with you and giving me a pep talk before getting on stage!

Women who’ve encouraged me, trusted me, shared their experiences, and helped me find my confidence along the way. Even the women not in the room, I could feel your energy there with me.

To everyone who came up to introduce themselves after quietly following along here, I’m so glad you did.

You’ve all been part of helping me get here. Thank you.

when you surround yourself with others dreaming big, you get that much closer to realizing yours ✨✨✨

I had the honor of taking the stage at @dremilyjacobs Empowered Moms LIVE last week and was blown away by the women on stage, in the crowd, at the vendor booths — the room was magic.

As someone supporting founders ready to say “hey, I am a founder!!!” and hit their first 10k month, being able to share my journey and tangible, real takeaways on the HOW - the keys to success - was incredible.

If you’re ready for even more of that energy, the doors to my Seen & Paid Collective Membership are still open (at Founder’s pricing, I might add).

Comment PB to learn more — I’d love to help you grow 🌱
