totally forgot to tag @paging_dr.white (amazing engineer/producer, legend, baller) who I’m quarterbacking this team with.

So…

A little over a decade ago I was on the other side of the desk …inside the machine at places like Universal and INgrooves, watching sync deals move through companies like Netflix and A+E, learning exactly what makes a placement happen.

For the last 5 years I’ve been on this side of it-writing and producing music that actually lands on screen. Some of my biggest credits so far are on Nickelodeon shows like Blues Clues and Bubble Guppies.

Here’s what both sides taught me: the placements don’t go to the best song. They go to the team that can deliver great songs, on time, over and over.

We’re building that team right now.

A solid group of songwriters, producers, and musicians who we can bring sync opportunities to - aka people who show up, work hard, and check their ego at the door.

If that’s you, or you know someone who fits - we want to hear about it.

Comment “TEAM” and I’ll send you the details. 🎵

Know someone who should see this? Send it to them, or tag them below. 👇

Episode 596: Interview with former Louisville Swimmer Drew Collins:

In this episode, Drew and I talked about the importance of the team, not only choosing to swim at Louisville but also swimming at the school as well. We also talked about being voted captain with 5 other guys, and how it is important to be your authentic self. Lastly, we talked about now combining the different communities he has been a part of being a former collegiate swimmer, and now starting his singing career. Thank you for joining the podcast Drew!

Working on something new with Lillie and Drew. A bass needs to be set up, but what else is new? This is a totally imperfect take, and I'm trying to put myself out there a little bit more on these interwebs. Sometimes it's just a matter of picking up the camera and hitting record while I'm doing other stuff anyways.

Everybody's tied if I picked up the bass in a little while. That's all I needed to get back into it. Haven't played much lately, but every time I do, I'm glad I did and think it always adds something nice to the otherwise program drums and synths and stuff. Anytime there's a little live element, whether it's a bass or some live percussion, it just livens up everything else around it.

There's nothing I always love doing, even if it's just me in the studio. Excited for all the new music working on, and we've got all to hear it.
