Every Wednesday in August meet at Hangar 24 Brewery at 5pm, gear up, kickstands up at 6pm.. and HOLD ON!

Must have a plated bike to follow along, must have a working light as we often return after sunset, and most importantly you must have a good attitude. It’s hot and dusty, and in some cases challenging. That post ride beer never states better !

Come prepared: fueled up, water pack, working motorcycle.

These rides are intended for smaller bikes >500cc.

See ya Wednesday !

Ps. Thanks for everyone that showed up last week and participated in the charity @_.emilyrobinson is spearheading for the Blood Cancer United! @bloodcancerunited

Tonight Drew put together our “Donkey Loop” run from 10:30-Midnight to close out my 40’s. We left the Whiskey Bottle up there for the next lads. 🥃

The last Hangar Hot Lap is this week! This ride will begin much more chill as we’re headed to a great lookout point overseeing the beautiful National Forest! We’ll offer alternative return options to tickle your fancy ranging from easy, hard, … to damn near impossible 🤷🏽‍♂️. You can choose whatever line you like.

I’d like to thank everyone that’s helped out this year and all you riders that show up week after week to endure the heat of the summer, bringing the skill required to make it through a few of these rides 🤘🏽

Big shout out to Drew Collins for often overthinking our routes and making them each one unique with alternate loops. The guy lives for this shit. He’s also to thank if you’ve ever questioned “why the hell did I buy a motorcycle?” while sitting on the trail, scared, sweaty, and out of breath. Trust me, I know the feeling all too well🤦🏽‍♂️

Special shout out to Chris Buscaglia — this was his brian child back in 2017… and I was naive enough to help him put it together. We’re both amazed this thing still happens every August bringing new riders every year.

I must also mention Blaine, Mike, Tyler, Stuart, Dan and James for stepping up this year in their support and help on the trails.

And all the photo and video content some of you have provided for me to create this week reel.

Last but not least, Hangar 24 for offering us a place to start/end these rides along with their contribution to helping us raise funds for LLS! and California Dual Sport Riders (CDSR) for helping us get the word out every week on our ride. (Broken Enduro, I see you).

Cheers 🍻!!

My 2023 framed photo of the boys behind Morton Peak. This 36x30 frame was broken at Gerard’s dental practice @cajon_dental (where it lives) + he had me reframe it. This shot was taken during the early stages of creating the DOWN ONLY trail. The same trail we finish week one of our Hot Laps 😎. See ya every Wednesday in August!

No Wimps Baja 2025 is in the books! An epic ride with an incredible crew, and we’re proud to welcome three new members into Sons of Danger—our exclusive club for those who’ve conquered at least five MSA rides. For those who don’t know, earning this title takes grit, determination, and a whole lot of Baja miles. Who’s next? #nowimpsinbaja #SonsOfDanger #malcolmsmithadventures
