Join us tomorrow for
A Live Conversation with Award Winning Independent Game Designer Bennett Foddy.

A reception and games in the gallery will start at 6pm.

The talk will begin at 6:30 in the screening room.

Join game designer Bennett Foddy (QWOP, Getting Over It, Baby Steps) in conversation with journalist Christopher Grant (Polygon, The Verge, GameSpot) for an exploration of Foddy’s nearly two-decade career in independent game development.

From academic philosophy and early Flash virality to streaming stardom and the flash point of "rage games," this discussion examines how physical friction and disobedient software can turn video games into compelling art.

This event is free and open to all.

$“A new jazz-tinged pop masterpiece.” (Bistro Awards) FOR YOUR GRAMMY® CONSIDERATION Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album
As Is, Crazy World Best Jazz Performance “Double Rainbow” “Crazy World” is both the title track and the album’s closer. We put it last on purpose. After all the chaos the record holds up to the light, we wanted to leave you feeling hopeful. “Crazy World” features Gil Goldstein on accordion, alongside strings arranged by our producer James McKinney, with the two of us at the center. “In a fractured cultural landscape, Crazy World does not attempt to resolve the chaos it reflects. It offers something rarer: a sense of coherence within it.” (Paris-Move) Al Schulman (guitar) Stacey Schulman (lead vocals) Jeff “Tain” Watts (drums) Corcoran Holt (bass) Kokayi (freestyle) Gil Goldstein (accordion) Dante Pope (vocalese) “Double Rainbow” has also been entered for Best Jazz Performance. Thank you to every Academy member listening this round. You can explore all five chapters of our Crazy World@in our link in bio or here: fyc.asisjazz.com Keep send us your FYC’s!
