It’s been a while since I’ve sat down and made a proper layout like this.
.
It reminded me that it’s a ritual. A process of choosing, and placing things. I lit some incense and just sat with these cards and women runes for a while.
.
Having last year off. It’s made me realise how much I’ve missed this. I missed the whole process of ritual and doing my daily cards. But mostly, I missed the community. A bunch of likeminded souls. Forever on a journey 🖤

Join me in ritual, where offerings to Odin merge with the runes as I return to them from a deep pause.

I omit some parts, so as you don’t hear me read my bibliomancy page, here’s it is:

Poetry by Jarod K. Anderson | Bone Collector

A vulture reads a poem in the bones,
sensing what we tend to forget.

Deer skulls like ghost ships
sailing the leaf litter are beautiful.

Rotting logs with capes of moss
and mushroom crowns bleed magic.

A ribcage cathedral in the stream
braids hymns from the water and light.

We couple loveliness with growth,
but decay is not just approaching absence.

Death also blooms.

A brief look at some of the art in my bedroom. So many incredible small business artists whose work I'm so proud to own. I love my bedroom - all my favourite things and little obsessions.. from Xena to Return to Oz, to pigeon love, to Giger and Red Dwarf - There's so much, it's hard to show it all but for now, here's a little snippet of one of my many gallery walls 🙂🖤

As many artists tagged as I could 🙏

Take time right now to focus on you, your life, your healing and mastering skills towards a new-er version of self. Take time to rest when needed. Everything you do affects everyone around you, we are all connected. The rune Ehwaz reminds you of the importance of teamwork and loyalty to your values. Find those that align with you 🌱

Finally a beautiful and readable rune deck which incorporates the animal kingdom.
I really struggle with Runes. I'm more of a visual person. So hopefully this deck will be helpful on my journey with them.
Not only is the artwork beautiful. It also comes with a 281 page guidebook which is a plethora of information.
I highly recommend this deck for someone who prefers more of a visual aspect to learning the Runes.

An important work on women's spirituality that was written many years ago.
It's not your New age love and light rubbish. It's bare bones and real.
This book is where the #womanrunes were birthed from. It's up there with my favourite books alongside The Great Cosmic Mother. The Myth of the Goddess. And many other books that are important works. Thanks to Molly @brigidsgrove for keeping my mind and heart open.

My own personal reading for February.
After some serious health scares. I'm happy to see these cards and runes. Especially as Imbolc represents new beginnings and growth. And I'm super happy to embrace changes. Known, or unknown 🙏🏻 Thank you to whoever is watching over me ✨

Practicing is the key to your own magic. More inspiration will be drawn from you as you get better and better at that thing. Write down your thoughts and feelings along the way to find how cycles in your life are keys in your reality. Journaling is a great way to make sense of what is happening as you move towards greater magic.

The Rune Perthro reminds you that you have a destiny. This destiny acts as a compass. This is the rune of secrets and there is still secrets to be revealed in your life so that you may move forward into your destiny.

You are the key to your own magic and your own destiny 🍂
