I’m going to be everyone’s guinea pig and try out these custom electronic ear protection plugs from @harrisandsons 👂🏽
Right now, I have programs set to protect me from high pitched dental frequencies, loud music at shows and concerts, loud outdoor noises, and loud indoor noises.
Are they expensive? Yes. But did you know… mild hearing loss doubles dementia risk, moderate hearing loss triples it, and severe loss multiplies it FIVEFOLD. 🎧
Take care of your ears!
Stay tuned for updates

I’ve previously owned a discman, an AIWA home stereo, a PlayStation, a Sega DreamCast, a 6 CD changer in my car, and even a CDJ-100S… all of which can run/read compact discs. The first music CD I purchased was Dr. Dre’s The Chronic in 1992.
Today, March 10, 2026, I own no such devices.
Everyone please learn how to download from the cloud.

Jumping on this trend just felt right 😆

Merchant Services… the biggest scam in dentistry. Zero transparency. Zero accountability. We dentists and practice owners don’t pay attention, so they take full advantage. 💸
I’ve only dealt with ONE person who could give me transparent pricing. I only wish his payments integrated with our practice management software.

Any thoughts on this?

Adam and I recently “downsized” the amount of PVS that we stock at the office, but we still keep the stuff handy for prepless cases or sometimes when contacts aren’t broken.
We scrapped the alginate and stone at the office 4 years ago after we bought a 3D printer.
Hopefully this isn’t unpopular opinion, but there’s still a time and place for analog impressions, but the need is certainly decreasing over time.
