Tomorrow we’ll be taking @gowildpreserves to the wonderful @bathsoftcheese Open Farm Sunday, and we can’t wait.
We’ll be bringing along our full range of small-batch, award-winning artisan jams, chutneys, marmalades and sauces, all handmade right here in Somerset.
If you’re planning a visit, make sure you pop by and say hello, have a taste, and stock up on your favourites. There’s so much happening throughout the day too, from meeting the animals and tractor rides to cheese-making demonstrations and plenty of delicious food and drink.
It’s set to be a fantastic family day out, and with the sunshine forecast we think it’s going to be a brilliant one. ☀️🐄🧀
We look forward to seeing you there!

Not drinking? Still spritzing. 🍊

We’ve added a new range of non-alcoholic aperitifs from @drinkskitchen to the bar, including our very own 0% take on an Aperol Spritz.

Made with their Orange Cinchona aperitif, it’s bitter, bright, refreshing and made for sunny afternoons on George Street.

All the spritz energy. None of the alcohol.

Pop in and try one this weekend.

Now we’ve got the deli work underway, we’re pressing pause on our in-store tastings for a little while… so we thought it was the perfect time to look back on the tastings of 2026 and say a huge thank you 💚

From local makers pouring samples and sharing their stories, to customers discovering new favourites, these tasting days have reminded us what independent food retail is really about.

How often do you walk into a supermarket and get to meet the people behind the products? To chat, ask questions, hear the passion, and make that connection.

We’ve loved filling the shop with great products and conversations, and brilliant local suppliers, and we can’t wait to bring it all back once the new deli space is ready!

All the makers featured are tagged in the photos, so do go and check them out and give them a follow. Supporting local and independent businesses really does matter, and we’re so lucky to have so many brilliant ones around us!!

Thank you to @langridgeorganic for coming and chatting all things organic to our customers too - sadly we didn't get a picture of them!

Love,
Team Earthfare

BELTANE GLASTONBURY, 2026.

Beltane is always such an amazing day in Glastonbury.

Rooted in ancient traditions, 1st of May and the changing seasons were deeply important, shaping daily life and the rhythm of communities throughout the year. Beltane marked the beginning of summer and was celebrated as a time of light, fertility, growth and renewal.

Traditionally, communities would gather with music, dancing, fresh greenery and great fires lit on the 1st of May to welcome the longer days ahead and celebrate the return of warmth and abundance after winter. In Glastonbury, these traditions are still so alive.

Thank you again to our suppliers for coming in and sampling their fab products...

There’s something powerful about gathering like this. Today at Beltane, you could feel it — the energy, the connection, the shift in the air. This isn’t just a celebration…it’s a return.

Beltane marks the halfway point between spring and summer — time of fire, fertility, growth, and full expression of life.

It’s about stepping out of the quiet of winter, out of the awakening of spring… and into expansion.

Into aliveness. And you could feel that today in Glastonbury. People coming together, open, grounded, connected —
celebrating not just the season, but each other. There’s something deeply healing about being in spaces like this…
where you’re reminded that we’re not meant to do life alone.

We’re meant to gather.
To share energy.
To be seen.

I felt honoured to be part of it. More of this. Always.
