Our family road trip to Miami started with a stop we were not skipping: @bucees ☺️

I’ve never seen an exit packed with cars like the Buc-ee’s in Fort Valley! The beaver nuggets were a 10/10, @drinktexastea might be the best tea I’ve ever had, and the beef jerky and chopped brisket sandwich did not disappoint. Honestly, everything exceeded my expectations.

By the time we made it to @hiltonmiamiaventura , we were late arrivals, but check-in was smooth and the service was already making a great impression. Then @wawa came through for our 2 a.m. munchies before we called it a night and got ready for Disney.

These are the little in-between moments I’m grateful for: the snacks, the laughs, the late nights, and getting to experience new places together. I want my daughter to remember that we didn’t keep putting family adventures off until “someday”.. we made the memories along the way. ✨

Follow along for more family travel, road trip stops, and real-life adventures with our family of three 🤍

I meet talented people almost every day, but rare is the person whose presence hits you before their resume does. Their style, energy, care and aura say everything before you even get to the music. That was Kizzo.

One of my partners Jaxon had been telling me about him for a year and some change, calling him a young Quincy Jones, raving about his Grammy Album of the Year run with Jon Batiste, the whole damn pitch. Now usually I take that talk with a grain of salt. But from the moment we linked, Jaxon was proven 100% right. Kizzo made me fall in love with music all over again.

I walked out of that first sit-down and immediately started preaching the gospel 😂 I remember meeting was with @tunji over at Def Jam, and sure enough, he and a bunch of other executives I respect already knew the deal. I was the one late to the party 😂🤷🏾‍♂️

Anyway, since then, I’ve watched Kizzo build The Bridge alongside Tobe, and we just partnered to launch @futurethirst alongside other creators we respect by partnering with owners to grow companies investors want to buy… s/o to @drinktexastea. This is what bridging the gap really looks like. S/O to @createdaddy for introducing me to someone who brought that real joy back into the work. Innovation at its finest!!! LETS GOOO
