For the Essence of Tamil New year - Veppam Poo Pachadi ( Neem Flower in jaggery syrup ) ingredients 1/2 cup of Jaggery handful of neem flowers melt the jaggery in 2/4 cup of water and strain . Sauté the neem flowers in ghee and once they turn brown add the jaggery syrup to it . Add a small amount of tamarind puree to it , and temper it with some red chillies . Note : the flavours of sour , bitter , spice engulfed in the sweet jaggery solution signify how amalgamated a life needs to be , also saying that sweetness is appreciated when there is a flavour of sourness , spiceyness and bitterness . 😇 Happy Tamil Puthandu 💫#tamil #global #tamilnadu #tamilstatus #recipe #recipeoftheday #recipes #trendingreels #trendingnow #trendingsongs #dessert #dessertporn #dessertlover

To the boiling water add this dry powdered rice and keep stirring well without lumps . Keep stirring very well and let it cool after that shape it into long size kolakattais or round ones . Tip#1 you can flavour these with hing / asafoetida / perungayam tip#2 you can use coconut oil as a temper ( I’ve used normal vegetable oil ) #gut #gutmann #easy #easymeals #easycooking #easydinner #easyrecipeideas ##vegetarian #vegan #veganfood #foodies #instagramreels #viralvideos #trending
