What an incredible weekend in Las Vegas for Unit One Jiu-Jitsu! 🥋🔥

Our athletes proudly represented our team at the @ibjjf World Master Jiu-Jitsu Championship and Jiu-Jitsu Con two of the biggest stages in the jiu-jitsu world.

🏆 Jiu-Jitsu Con Results:

🥇 Radin — 🥇in Gi and 🥈in NoGi
🥉 Dhalayla — 🥉in Gi and 🥉NoGi
🥇 David Farniev — 🥇 Medal in Gi

🏆 World Master Result:

🥉 Elizabeth — Bronze Medal

I’m incredibly happy and proud—not only because of the medals, but because of the hard work, discipline, courage, and dedication behind every result.

A special thank-you to all the parents, families, friends, and teammates who supported our athletes throughout this journey. Every medal represents countless hours of training and the strength of our entire team.

What a weekend for Unit One! One Mat. One Team. One Unit.

Now it’s time to get back to work and prepare for the next challenge! 🖤🥋

Last year, when Elisabeth was still a white belt, I told her: “I have a plan for you.” That plan was to put her on the podium at the @ibjjf World Master Jiu-jitsu Championship.

For over a year, we worked toward this goal every single week. Elisabeth is a doctor, a wife, a mother of three, and a dedicated martial artist, but nothing can fully prepare you for the pressure of competing on one of the biggest stages in jiu-jitsu.

She was nervous .I remember my firts worlds i was shaking 😂but yesterday we was able to control it together team work

With less than one year as a blue belt, she stepped onto that stage and earned a bronze medal in the Master 3 Super-Heavy division.

After the podium, every other medalist was promoted to purple belt. Elisabeth is the only one remaining at blue because she hasn’t even completed one year at this rank. That confirmed what I already believed: she belonged there, and she truly had the ability to win it all.

This bronze medal is not the end of the plan. It is proof that the plan is working.

I couldn’t be prouder of you, Elisabeth. Next year, we go for gold. 🥉🌎

Huge thank you to @rogergracie for an unforgettable few days of training, laughs, and plenty of reminders that there are levels to this!

Alex and Bethany at @grapplers_retreat have put together something really special. The location, the facilities, the pace of the week, and the staff they brought together made the whole experience absolutely epic.

It wouldn’t have been the same without everyone else who made the trip too. It was a great group to train with, learn from, laugh with, and spend time with on and off the mats.

Most of all, thank you to my wife @dustionthefarm for making sure I got a spot and encouraging me to go. She knew how much this experience would mean to me, and I’m glad she made sure I didn’t miss it.

Definitely a bucket-list experience. If you’re on the fence about going, don’t wait!

Age is just a number. Mindset is everything ✔️

@drkehawk stepped out of her division and accepted one of the toughest challenges she could face: competing in the Adult division as a Master 3 athlete.

It wasn’t about comfort. It was about growth.

Watch her share what she learned from the experience, the emotions behind the match, and why taking on bigger challenges is always worth it.

Proud of you, Elizabeth. 💙🥋
