highlights from yesterday and Saturday: breakfast with Michele in NYC on a very quick layover! We walked Central Park after and caught up with Logan here visiting fresh off his new role as professor of philosophy and Asian Studies at NIU!! So fun catching up! I appreciate every bit of living here in NYC. I met up with Lizzie, after Michele left for her flight, at our mini storage unit where I literally haven’t been since I moved here. (The movers moved everything in and Lizzie organized.) We sorted through it and pulled out my “Fall/Halloween” - stay tuned! After hauling everything to my walk up apartment we walked over to the cutest corner newish Italian restaurant in my hood Elia’s Casa Bianca celebrating my 1 yr (a cpl. days late!), then walked to Trader Joe’s for their fall treats and to Lizzie’s for movie night “9 to 5!” I braved the “Snoopy In Style NYC” pop up! Snoopy in Fashion - worth the annoying line to get in! Little Island, was hosting a bake sale fundraiser! Little Bake Sale with local pastry shop bakeries and it was so cute! I literally ran into Manifesting Marilyn exhibit on my way out and ran in quick and I’m so glad I did! Marilyn is a phenomenon and her life should be honored and celebrated. Genesis NYC on 10th Avenue held a beautiful exhibit, mostly digital photography with some personal items, and so well done! they also replicated her private library sourcing each book exactly and it was, per Christie's Auction House, iconic. She was often mocked for her literature.
My favorite Marilyn quote: “I used to think as I looked out on the Hollywood night — there must be thousands of girls sitting alone like me, dreaming of becoming a movie star. But I’m not going to worry about them. I’m dreaming the hardest.” I love her ambition and determination to succeed in a place like Hollywood!

Visited so many AZ places in June! I ate good and had so much fun dancing, swimming, and enjoying good air conditioning where I could find it. Love ya! #arizona #az #phoenix #phxeats #phxfinds

Reflecting back on the wonderful experience we had at the @charlottefilmfestival. The organizers were fantastic, making the filmmakers feel comfortable and right at home, but also excited and energized. The @iph_clt is state of the art, and we were thrilled to debut Harmony On Pointe in the Queen City. We want to go back!!

The way I love you all. My rocks. My support. My entire heart. Each and every one of you holds such a special place within me. Show after show you have been there. Every celebration, you’ve been there. Every mistake, you’ve been there. Many of you have held my hands through anxiety and sadness. Every hug you’ve squeezed life into me. You know exactly how much you have shown up in this weird little season I’m in. I love you.

In October, I started a new job and sold my car. Both of these big changes have taught me a lot about time allocation, intention, and boundaries. Honestly, I’ve loved living without a car so far. & I’m so glad that I got to celebrate Phoenix Pride and Halloween with some of the best people ☺️🩷
