Hi lovely ladies. 💜

My name is Mandy.
I am the self-defense coach for Lions Den Ladies.

Our page is super new so this is a quick intro to everything about our mission and our classes.

What I've seen in women is that we all have alot of fight in us. But we are taught to be weak, vulnerable, and dependent on others for our sense of safety and security. But the truth is we are so much stronger than we know. We all have an inner warrior. So our classes are for those women who want to learn the skills to give that inner fight actual capacity.

Jiu jitsu techniques are the most practical way for women to defend themselves. They are brutal and require practice and that possibly scares some people off. But we're looking for people who want to find that person within them that is strong and courageous. Because we dont have to live in fear. We can live life to the fullest knowing we are capable and always learning, always growing.

If that's you.
Our class details:

📍Blue roof Life Space, Wentworth
(Classes in Sydenham starting soon)
🕓 5.15pm

Thank you to everyone who stepped on the mats with us this year. Every roll, every drill, every stripe has helped build something bigger than jiu-jitsu… 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲.

Your dedication, energy, and growth are what make the Lions Den pride so strong. We’re truly grateful for each and every one of you.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬, so let’s keep rolling, keep improving, and finish the year stronger than we started.🥋🔥🦁

On October 18th, we painted Marine Drive pink. 💕

Over 300 incredible women came together for a walk of strength, love, and solidarity in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. We laughed, we shared, we stood tall — united in purpose and hope.

Led by the passionate souls at Team Stokes Fitness, this day was more than an event — it was a movement. A reminder that together, we are powerful. Together, we can make a difference.

For our mothers, sisters, daughters, and grandmothers — we walk.
For awareness, for support, for life — we rise.

🎀 Pray for strength. Pray for healing. Pray for a cure.
