What if I told you that most conflict stems from unmet expectation.

There is a crucial conversation that needs to be had between RMs and parents upon returning home from their mission.

That is the conversation of the RM defining their new role and identity as an adult and communicating that with their parents, and the parents defining their role as parents to an adult and their expectations from their child.

Thanksgiving Week in Review -
- Started with a call from Meg in Panama (she is doing great) and a morning viewing the Grand Canyon.
- A lot of driving this week. Memorable family time in the car. I love these guys.
- A couple of Arizona hikes including Camelback Mountain and Usery Park. Beautiful and warm.
- Being with family is always fun and healing. To have children and in-laws that I admire and love is a great blessing.
- Stopped in Pocatello and saw my parents (and Brad and Tif, not pictured). I also love these guys, amazing people.
