FRONTOPLASTY Filler treatment with MJ

See one, Do one, Feel one!

This was absolutely a fun way to finish off day 3. This procedure is one of the most dangerous from a risk standpoint due to proximity of the supratrochlear artery and Supraorbital vasculature and the communication with the ophthalmic circulatory system. On the images you will see I captured Dr MJ performing the procedure accurately visualizing the cannula tip under ultrasound Subgaleal on the periosteum. This was a painless procedure and I was very comfortable throughout. She was able to correct my frontal bossing and central forehead fat loss. The use of ultrasound reduces risk but most importantly provides comfort for the patient and the clinician knowing where the product is being placed accurately and safely.

It was an epic weekend in London @cma.collaborative congress. I had the honor to co-chair the highly educational and scientific discussions. Dedicated to complication management. Speakers and attendees were from Asia, North America, Middle East, Australia, Europe, and South America. Great to see friends and colleagues. Thank you @leewalker_academy @gm_aesthetics.education @drconvery @edavies_medicalaesthetics_911 for invited me to become a board member 3 years ago and allowing me to chair the first day. ❤️❤️❤️

🔸 Comfort Is Key 🔸

I am melodramatic when it comes to pain. With numbing agents, I have all the bells and whistles for my own treatments.

Expecting patients to “grin and bear it”, when there’s numerous pain relieving measures available, is kinda mean.

The good part is because of this, I’m super aware of how to minimise discomfort when it comes to my patients and I have a toolbox of techniques to deploy.

I’ve even had my patients numbed for Botox when they’re really anxious. There’s no judgment here - I get it.

The first time I had an aesthetic treatment I was ridiculous. My injector was super kind to me and it helped me relax plus she numbed me really well. Many treatments later, I’m a seasoned pro and I don’t feel apprehensive anymore.

Do aesthetic treatments hurt? They can sting a tad initially. If your injector cares and looks after you, this is no worse then a blood test and you’ll be absolutely fine.
