Very rainy, very windy weekend away with @chefclarisseflon.

First time actually outside in god knows how long.

Great roads and great drivers, 1 month countdown to Flanders.

📝 Latest news - second part

In the past month there have been no less than three teams currently UCI Continental teams that have announced their closure at the end of the year and one team that is uncertain:

Lifeplus-Wahoo
Founded in 2016 as Drops Cycling Team, it has been struggling with financial difficulties since 2022, despite its successes in recent years, and has twice participated in the Tour de France Femmes. It was precisely the failure to participate in this edition of the french race that cost the team's budget dearly, as they did not receive the money they expected if they participated in the race. Added to this is, a sponsor still owing the team money and the bikes stolen at the Tour of Britain in June. Unable to financially guarantee the team a Pro team licence for next season, the team preferred to close. Throughout its history, the team has fielded more than 15 riders who have been/are part of the World Tour.

St Michel - Mavic - Auber93
More recent and still unclear are the news about the St Michel - Mavic - Auber93, a team that would deserve Pro Team status on the basis of points in the UCI ranking, but which seems to be in financial difficulties due to a sponsor, Mavic, leaving at the end of the season. Should the team not be able to find a new sponsor, the team would continue its activities at the national N1 level and no longer professionally. Some athletes already have contacts with other teams such as Borras and Guilman with Cofidis and Bunel with Visma.

Also at the Italian level, it is rumoured that the A.S.D. K2 Women Team, which recently lost Eremita and Bulgarian champion Tonkova with the former going to Team Mendelspeck and the latter to Isolmant, will close at the end of the season, struggling to find sponsors, given also by its exclusion from the last Giro d'Italia.
