Okay… “2% teeth, 98% gums” was BRUTAL. 😂 But a gummy smile isn’t simply about having “too much gum.” There can be several reasons behind it, and understanding the why is what helps us determine the right approach to creating a more balanced smile. The goal isn’t just to fix a tooth; it’s to understand the whole picture. Ready for a more comprehensive look at your smile? Four associate positions in five years taught me a lot about the kind of practice I wanted to create. Savvy was built from those experiences—the things I loved, the things I knew could be better, and the kind of care I wanted patients to experience. Welcome to the practice I finally get to call home. 💚 If you’re looking for a new dental home, we’d love to welcome you. We’re committed to building better systems, strengthening our team, and creating an exceptional experience for every patient we serve.

Grateful for the coaching, challenge, and investment from Mastery Lab. We came home inspired, aligned, and ready to put what we learned into action.

Better together. Better for our patients. ✨

Smile makeover with gum lift (crown lengthening with @drtamdds ) and porcelain veneers. Patient was bothered by her gummy smile and smaller teeth and wanted a more natural feminine smile that flowed better with her overall facial aesthetics.

We broadened and brightened her smile, improved overall proportions, and corrected her midline for better symmetry. Her facial features are now more balanced and her smile is in harmony with the rest of her face.

A beautiful transformation ✨

Thank you so much to @sholaanimashaun for this WONDERFUL video of my open house event a few months ago. I was thankful to all who showed up and supported me not only on that night but also during my many years in practice. It was a night of thankfulness and gratitude. After the braces, Stone was ready for the next step: gum contouring with Dr. Tamara. Her precision gave his smile the perfect shape and symmetry, but for that to happen flawlessly, every tooth had to be prepared carefully.

That’s where I come in. Meticulous planning and tooth prep aren’t glamorous, but they’re everything. By setting the foundation perfectly, I made sure Dr. Tamara could work with confidence, the lab could craft restorations that fit like a glove, and Stone’s gums would heal beautifully.

Watching the smile evolve was honestly magical. Every small detail mattered, and with each step, I could see his confidence quietly growing. 😍
